Very clear. I like that there was a minimum of "chat." Also, using a crochet hook instead of a knitting needle is soooo much easier. Thank you!

That's how you do the casting for amigurumi toys. Nice method, didn't know someone claimed it as theirs.

Do you know if the circle is the same as the crocheted "magic ring"? It looks the same but I'm not completely sure. I'm a beginner knitter but I'm hoping to make the Anthology Throw with my advent yarn.

I think it is a similar idea but I believe with the crochet version you just end up with one live stitch (because... crochet) whereas this the required number of stitches are live (but I could be wrong!)
