I think next time I would use bulk sausage and saute the onions and peppers with it when browning

I just made this for my family of 6 I added 3 more eggs to the recipe and I shredded 2 red potatoes, rinsed them and squeezed all the water out. (I didn't have frozen potatoes) this will definitely be a staple in our home. I also used cubed ham from a ham we had I didn't have bacon. But did do the rest as you called and it's so good. 🥰 I have a gas stove and the time was good for my stove too. Thank you and God bless you and your precious family!! 😊🙏🤗

It sure does look delicious and also look as though your husband was enjoying it as well as children chiming in how they want some of what dads having. So to me I say it was a total success when a wife and mom can make something warm and yummy that her family loves then she has done what she loves to do and is the Queen of Their Castle, and I don't think you can ask for much more than a Happy Family! Congratulations!

You can microwave them too with some butter. It comes out soft and yummy. Few minutes until soft.

I like it, especially the crust browned like that. If you find your out of crescent rolls you can always use flattened white bread. Good job!

It's a good recipe that's been around for a while I've used it for 4 years! Always use the ham the sausage the bacon the cheese the onions and the peppers! What she needed was larger eggs or more egg to make it light and fluffy! But it is a very good breakfast or brunch meal 😋

You can allso buy croissants cut in half cube the bottoms add them to a bowl add eggs bacon onion ect salt pepper mix together add that to a casserole dish add the tops bake till cooked yum

in case this was older they now have the crescent roll dough in a flat roll, just like a pie crust. same as the rolls, i use it in several different things, even in s quasi cobbler so it isn't so sweet.

Around our house, if a recipe calls for 1 lb of bacon, I have to cook 2 lbs...it seems to *disappear* in that "sitting on a paper towel, degreasing/cooling stage". lol

Yeah, I was making bacon wrapped jalapenos a few years ago and cooking bacon like crazy. I looked up and saw my step son chowing down on the bacon. I screamed at him and broke that up. I was pissed.

Great minds think alike. I am just getting to this video looking for new ideas for our new hectic schedule and as soin as you said you didn't have ham. Gloria Salcedo Minor, if at all, more or less. The main thing is to cook the eggs all the way through so they’re not liquid anymore, and brown the cheese on top. ANY meat product ;bacon or ham or sausage or ground beef, etc) to put in it must be completely cooked (PRE-COOKED THOROUGHLY!) BEFORE you add it in.

If you ever try it with ground sausage, scrambled, then add a little bit of poultry seasoning or ground sage to it. (YUUUUUUMMMMM!). 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋😋 It goes great with any pork products! (Even bacon or ham as well.) Instead of crescent rolls you can also use Southern Buttermilk Biscuits, or just plain bread, whatever kind you have on hand. You should teach this recipe to your daughter at college! It’s a great breakfast for large group, or you can individually wrapped it (after pre-cooking it!) for the freezer, for later eating. Just microwave & go!!

I'm wondering if it would work by cutting up the crescent rolls so they're not on the bottom & more evenly dispersed throughout,- as I've done that will refrigerator roll dough for pizza muffins! you have saved me with this recipe. I was asked at church this past sunday to bring a breakfast casserole and i was like "huh" whats a breakfast casserole...you should have saw the look on my women leaders face....I was like i can make a quiche..lol...then they proceeded to help me out by giving me a verbal tutorial on how to make a breakfast casserole...haha...Im glad i was looking back at some of your vids and found this one! thanks
