Nice. You can also avoid using any glue by holding baking paper tightly over the napkin (maybe tape it in place) and use a gentle heat from heat gun and stroke the design - the wax melts a little through the napkin and it merges with the wax 🎉

This is so so pretty. That is the same process that I have always used, although holding the baking paper straight and tight can be a bit of a drag. Remember the first candle I did, I used a heat gun as suggested but once I took the paper off there were dimples on my candle, so had been too close to the candle. Now I use my old hair dryer which has a much lower heat and hold it further away from the candle. Works a treat. Enjoyed the video though.

Lovely pattern with a beautiful result. Have you ever lit the candle to check how the napkin reacts? Is it safe to use it lit or better if only for decorative purposes (which would be a pity). Thank you for a great tutorial!

I just have one question cause I've decopouge on candles where ppl melt the image into the candle and they claim that the paper won't burn or catch fire with a thick candle only the inner candle melts in outside where paper is is safe but what about modge podge can't it become wet or melt when the the candle is lit and the candle begins to melt on the inside won't that heat up putter candle and reactivate the modge podge glue

Mine was a disaster. Napkin hard to peel layers off. I used pva glue on candle. It broke tissue to much. Baking paper over it. And hair dryer high heat. It didn't melt picture on. Just looked bad . Like a sticker. Help. What did I do wrong ??

The amount of modpodge we use is very very less. I have been using few of my own candles and till now have not faced any issues. Thanks!
