Jennifer, I am sitting her watching you construct this "tri "fold card with two of my Scotties( out of 6 girls). They LOVE the sound of your voice and just hang over my laptop to watch you painting and folding that lovely card. Seriously, I wish they loved my voice as much; well you never tell them" NO "so I suppose it's understandable! Great idea on the design of this card, I saw Tim's release video; he was just mesmerized by how it worked...I do wish more of his designs came with a die set..I hate fussy cutting, or as I call it, fumbling cutting! Thanks for the inspiration , and hello from Bronwyn and her daughter Oonaugh (the Scotties).

Really love these cards! The way to cut an image with a craft knife is to make sure your knife is really sharp. Then go with the point of the knife lightly around the image. Then cut in the crease again but deeper. Don’t do it too cramped. Beter to repeat this step. This should do it.

Your card made with TH Stamptember set is so brilliant it’s almost enough to make me buy it. But I’ve spent my Stamptember money already. Your cards made me realize I have quite a few stamp and die combos that would work well for this technique. I have several sets that have the outline dies that are split so you can cut out either side or the whole stamp. This Z-gatefold with overlay card style is a perfect fit for such dies. Spellbinders actually has a number of such die sets.

Tip for cutting with a craft knife, gently draw where you want to cut with the knife then use pressure to cut through. Your knife will follow the first line 😊

Always FANTASTIC techniques! I love it! FYI, i've found an emery board works really well in lieu of a paper sander. It also tends to fit into smaller areas.

Love the use of the sprays and brush, it added so much to the background. Your videos are great, full of good tips and the results are beautiful cards. Lovely cards and colours as ever Jennifer. You looked as though you were labouring with cutting around Santa's sleigh, my tip as someone who has used a scalpel for years in crafting keep changing your blade for a good sharp one.

Hi Jennifer I love you and your Technic and teaching ummm 💖. Now I have question? I dont oven Distress spray or Mica spray. But I one Disstress refill ink and Perfect pearls and Pearl Ex. Can I bland that in spray and use it like you did here in the video?? With out fear of the Perfect Pearls dusts of when dried???? I have oned this for ages, but have never used it So sad I love what you did and I’d like to use it.

At around 26.18 you heat emboss those ornaments. What I thought I saw and heard was you using black pigment ink then applying clear embossing powder. I thought the only way to emboss in this fashion was using one of the brands of sticky, clear embossing 'ink'. Did I miss a step? Thanks so much :-).

You can use embossing sticky ink of course. But, you can also use pigment ink. The key is to use an ink that doesn't dry too quickly.

Hmmm... I don't know what I was using 6 years ago. :(. If you are talking about liquid glue the ones I use the most now are Gina K Connect Glue and Bearly Art glue.
