Pro-tip for y'all trying to build this. I saw somebody use a fan cage as a basket and it looked like it worked really well!

The rubber thing with hose clamps is called a nohub band by the way. Or a no hub coupling. Fernco….

Love how simple and basic your design is. Thanks! By the way, the chain cutters are actually called Bolt Cutters. If your cheap like me, I bought my bolt cutters from Harbor Freight for under $9.00.

One could also probably use a grinder (hand or bench), sawzall, etc...

this was great info! I'm trying to build one for my boyfriend, but in smaller scale like a trophy to hold a special disc he has & this video was pretty informative on the chains & zip ties part. I never would have thought to use those! you're really good at explaining everything clear as well. other videos are confusing as ever.

Hi Soo just saw your -- build a basket for frisbee golf- GOOD DIY- but ?? Did u consider- some kinda wheels- to move it-- kinda like above ground basketball system- tilt it-- move it with some platic- or type of wheels? Just asking.

You mentioned the outer chains are 2’ long, how long are the inner chains?
