If you have options, I recommend 13mm rod. 8mm is too thin. X

Hello, 6mm cords are a bit thick for this. but I am sure it won't be a problem. Just cut each strand longer than what it stated. X

Hello, Thanks for your interests. If you want to make a bigger size than the one I made, you could just use a longer dowel (mine is 30cm long) and add 4 strands each as many as you want it to be. X

you would need 4mm macrame cord to creat this wall hanging. you need 14 * 180cm, 4 * 200cm, and 2 * 70cm. 🤗

What size cord are you using in the video? The cord that came in my kit is only about half as thick so it is not working up the same.

@@me2youatelier Just got to the end of the spiral sides and I am positive that the cord in the kit is not the right one for the tutorials. Mine falls 4 inches below where yours is right under the other design.

@@samanthasmith7603 I don't know if I understand you correctly. I will explain as I understood your comment. You can choose the length of the spiral knots. If you want to make it longer, you can make more knots, and if you want to make it shorter, you can make fewer knots. You can create both spiral knots to the desired length and then combine both arms into one using a gathering knot. Please let me know if it works. X, Kei 🤗

@@yaniroman4614 Hi, Yani. It is ok to be a beginner. I have been there too. :) All the cords length and how many are in the video. Please check out the screen time 0:18. You could see all the details. Though, you would need a ruler to measure the exact length of each strand. X

제가 실 굵기를 몰라서 영상보다 얇은실로 했는데 사선으로 두번씩 매듭 짓는거에서 두번해도 길이가 안 맞더라구요..3번씩해도될까요??아님..푸르고 굵은실로 다시해야할까요ㅠㅠ

사선으로 하는 더블하프히치 매듭말씀이시지요? (Double half hitch knot )실이 얇아도 괜찮아요 사이즈가 조금 작게 나오겠지만 실이 얇은대로 귀엽게 나올거예요 2번씩만 하셔요^^

@@dami_having 보통한국의 마크라메실은 60합 90합 120합 이렇게 나오는걸로 아는데 80합정도면 많이 얇은건 아니라서 충분히 가능할것같아요^^

제가 사용한건 4mm두께의 마크라메 면코드를 사용했어요 한국에서 구하신다면 90합이나 120합으로 된 마크라메 실을 사용하시면 될것같아요~~

I have used 4mm 4ply macrame cord. but you could use single or 3ply or braided. it doesn't really matter. but the thickness of the cord should be 4-5mm 👍🤗
