Making The Ultimate Sandpaper Dispenser!
In this video I will be building a sandpaper dispenser! This workshop project is brilliant for workshop organisation, efficiency and it looks great! This holder features an old bandsaw blade as a cutter, so you can rip pieces of sandpaper at any size you like! This sandpaper rack is a fun, easy and quick build you can try yourself! You can even recycle an old broom handle as the dowel!

Sean, I noticed you used wood glue and the spotted superglue, I'm assuming to join together quickly with the strength of wood glue. Thank you, I've never seen or heard of that, but very clever.

Hey Greg! Yeah that's exactly right, the super glue quickly joins the pieces so I can move on the the next stage. and once the wood glue dries, that adds all the strength.

I think you'd enjoy your dispenser more if each roll would have it's own holder.. That way you can replenish them individually instead of having to remove the whole rod.. 😉

Hi Sean. Just made something very similar but am using a pair of scissors to cut the sandpaper. The old blade is a very neat idea and I may be able to retrofit to mine. Also , I know you’ve done a shop tour but I’m intrigued as to the dimensions of the shop? Plus where did you get the old dental nurse chair?

Love it, what a great idea. Definitely making one - how many TPI was your bandsaw blade? Looks to tear the sandpaper perfectly. Also love Mirka sandpaper, best there is IMO
