Easy Eco-Printing on Paper

ECOPRINTING ON PAPER -- without using harsh chemicals or special equipment. I have to admit that, for my first try, I'm pretty happy with the results. In today's video I'm describing how I eco-printed my papers and sharing the results of my eco-printing session with you. It has been 2 years since you posted this, so I'm late to the party. I have tried numerous methods of eco-dyeing and your method has given me the best results yet. Our local store only had ferrous sulfate iron so I went with what was available. I crushed the pill and dissolved it in my water. I got my best results by soaking my watercolor paper for 20 to 25 minutes in the solution. I steamed for 26 minutes. Once I could touch my bundle, I pressed with my hands all around the bundle and flipped it and did the same on the other side and then just left it alone for 30 minutes or so. I definitely did a huge happy dance when I cut my bundle open. I wish I could attach photos so I could share what you helped me achieve. Thank you!

I really enjoyed watching your video! Would it be possible to list the steps in your process? I saved your video and I’ll be watching again. I live in Missouri and we don’t have anything blooming right now but this summer I’ll have lots of Zinnias I land other plants to use. I’m so looking forward to trying this. Your prints are absolutely beautiful! I’m making journals right now and I can’t wait to try this! Thank you for sharing!
