Expressions from the video to know (I wrote this up for a student, thought I'd share): 1. indifferent - no opinion 2. meh - slang expression meaning "i don't care/not so great" 3. a royalist - a person who is in support of the royal family 4. get knighted - to become a knight in the UK 5. 'taking on board' - they are considering 6. remarkable - something/somebody that is very special 7. a rascal - (slang) a man who really likes women, tries to say nice things to all the women 8. pristine - absolutely clean 9. cheeky - bold, says/do what they think or want even if it is disrespectful 10. 'let your hair down' - idiom meaning 'relax' 11. conspiracy - a secret plan formulated by a group of people, often evil or illegal 12. archaic - too old for today's time 13. relevant - related to the topic; important 14. subtle - not bold, not as noticeable 15. to nick - to steal 16. 'make a few bob' - British slang for make some money

You surprised we don't to prop up a bunch of rich cunts who do nothing and sit about living of for our labour, just because they are the inbred children of the person who could muster the biggest army and kill the most people hundreds/thousands of years ago? Also the point that they bring in money for the UK is complete shite. Its been totally debunked, look up a video on the royal family from yotuber shaun (he also has a good accent and speaks slowly so it's good for english learning!)

She said “a penny of the taxes from the pound goes to them.” So for every pound of tax we pay, a penny of it goes to the Royal Family.

Why do I feel it is, always easier to understand the reporter than people who were interviewed..... is it because I am Chinese?so I can't adapt to various of , accents
