Ooh thank you for this! Your videos are always the best. I have avoided cables, thinking they would be too hard. Turns out I've already done similar stitches, they just weren't arranged in this way to look like cables. Can't wait to make this top!

Hi, Chandi I noticed you're bigripual on your crochet hook! Started pencil, switched to knife grips during the video. BRAVO! I switch up the grip on my hook to alleviate strain (proactive) or stop pain (reactive)... Really enjoy your patterns. Have your yarn on my wish list....

Hi Chandi, I am getting ready to start and was reading your notes and have a question. You suggest switching between skeins every couple of rows due to the absolutely gorgeous hand dyed yarn (I went with Laguna), however would you suggest tying off and attach the new skein or would you carry both skeins up the side? I want to do it the right way. Thank you, Lynn

What did you do for the first row? The demonstration seems to start after you have done the first row.

Cheryl Rowe looks like for the demonstration tutorial, just create a row or chain stitches, then turn. Then it looks like a row of double crochet (dc). You could do a row of single crochet for the demo, but if I was learning, I’d do a row of dc because you could see the stitches she starts with to create the “cables” better.

I have downloaded the pattern. It says in the pattern that it "fits up to bust size 56 inches ". But what is it in eu size?

Does anyone have suggestions on yarn for warm weather clothing? I live in Texas but I love to crochet tops. We don't have a long winter so traditional yarn is too warm about 10 months of the year. I would like something for the months before and after summer (technically spring and fall but our seasons don't follow the rules lol).
