The only way to Heaven is to be born again by saying out loud "Jesus is Lord" and believing in ur heart that God rose Him from the dead then you must live for Him, dont focus on not sinning bc thats self righteousness but instead focus on having more faith in Him and fear of the Lord and doing everything for Him hallelujah, i suggest getting baptized, repenting(asking for forgiveness of your sins and making a radical turn from ur sin), fasting (doesnt have to be from food), evangelizing(spreading the Gospel), praying, and reading the Bible. God and Jesus love all of you hmu with any questions have a good day God bless✝️❤️❤️ good works dont get u to Heaven God's grace does John 3:16 Colossians 2:6 - [ ] Romans 10:9

Beautiful language! I am a native Spanish speaker. To me, all of the sounds are so familiar. The problem is, they are arranged in a completely different way. But, every time I hear Greek, I feel like I should understand what is being said. If I just listen close enough, the meaning will become clear. It never does. I actually have to learn the language. But I have always been fascinated by the culture and history and the mystique of that which is Greek. And, oh my God! The women are so beautiful! I melted. Love the food too. But, the girls!

@@SpartanLeonidas1821 True, but it gets iffy when you go all the way back to Mycenae. While attestation wise, it's true that there's no archaeological evidence of written Chinese prior to the 2nd millennium BC, the pieces of evidence found were from the late Shang Dynasty (Late Bronze Age, so around the same time as Mycenae, actually), and archaeological evidence show the Shang was established around the same time as Myceanae, more than half a millennium prior to those oracle bones ...so presumably the written language was in use long before those specific pieces that survived to today were created. Linear B is also not continuous with later post-Phoenician written form of Greek, while Chinese scripts are largely continuous since the Shang era (there was no Chinese dark ages unlike the Greeks, nor did they adopt another script like the later Greeks did). But you are correct in terms of strict attestation of Linear B (not classical greek alphabet). I think in my comment, I meant that Chinese was older than Classical Greek. Not necessarily taking Mycenaean Greek into consideration.
@SpartanLeonidas1821
@SpartanLeonidas1821 2 жыл бұрын
@@uadhlagash7280 Well my friend, rest assured that Mycenaean Linear B findings are 100% Greek as well. The script is different but the Language is there, and can actually be read to prove that its Greek. The Greek Language is much older than that though, and future archaeological finds will take it back even further most likely. There are other finds such as the Dispilio Tablet that take things much further back, but it has never been deciphered. Not going to mention Linear A, even though it has not been deciphered, most Specialists do not believe it to be Greek...then again all the Specialists also thought that Linear B was not Greek until they cracked the code! 👍

I learnt a lot of new vocab with this video. Funny (for us) that cosmos means people in Greek... Many false friends there between Spanish and Greek (liturgia is another one). Tbe old man in the video is very sweet and so are the others...Ellada poli orea! Why don't you make a video about Greek placenames? I love them. Efharistó and lots of love from your Spanish neighbours and friends! :))

Thanks you for all your beautiful words that you said for greece and greeks. Btw: cosmos in greek except for "people" it also means everything that is around us or for example the whole earth. As for example : the whole world knows that Donald Trump is the US president. In greek: olos o kosmos xeri oti o donald tramb ene o proedros ton ipa. Όλος ο κόσμος ξέρει ότι ο Ντόναλντ Τραμπ είναι ο πρόεδρος των ΗΠΑ

Yes, Cyrillic was created based off of Greek. (As Greek was created by Greeks based off Phoenician thousands of years ago). Greek is not spoken by many people around the world today, however, one could argue that it is still a very useful Language to learn, especially if you are in any Academic Sciences & Fields such as Medicine/Pharmacology, Mathematics/Physics, Astronomy etc.. It will also teach you a lot about your own Language that probably has thousands of Loanwords in it! 👍

***** Hehehe, Norwegian??? Norwegian to me sounds like . . . Swedish! (But with Danish words) hehe What type of Spanish do you speak? Because if you learned Spain Spanish you will hear a lot of "Z" sounds just like the Greeks use the Th sounds. (In Latin American spanish no) Greek and Spanish are very different . . . I just was thinking the sounds (not words in particular) and the "rhythm" of the language sounded similar. Lots of a-e-i-o-u vowels, very rapidly spoken, with words ending in "s"

Personally, from my paternal side I am a Greek with origin from Macedonia, but I cannot entirely agree with you. Macedonia of course never ceased to be inhabited by us, but throughout centuries there have settled a lot of other nations, like Vlachs, Turks, Sephardic Jews, Albanians (near Florina), and most importantly - the Slavs, who before the population exchange in 1922 made up 30% of the population. They were bonded to their land just as much as we do, but our government, in favour of alleged "purity" decided to get rid of them, forcing them to hellenisation or expelling them out of their territories, as well as changing a planty of Slavic toponyms to make them sound Greek. Macedonia was untill the twentienth century a very heterogenous land. And there is nothing worse when someone wants to attribute a multiethnic region to exclusively one nation. No matter if we say about the land of Aleksander, Kosovo, Transylvania, Crimea or any other border land. So well, Macedonia is of course Greek, but it is also Slavic, Vlach, and of some other nations as well.

Actually they are talking in the usual pace. The "talking fast" of greeks is used a lot when they are angry or happy and sometimes we need to repeat to our friends what we' re saying to get it even though we' re all greeks. It's thing that produces a lot of humorous moments though, so we like the confusion that sometimes comes with it, as we are humor lovers.

I swear American English is among the slowest language in the world. If you observe carefully, you'll see that most languages in the world from French, UK English, Arabic, Farsi, Greek, Italian all the way to Chinese, Russian, Malay, Japanese and many others are spoken fast. American English is unique in that it makes sure that every word that has to be pronounced is pronounced clearly.
