The first time I used that grout, I was shitting myself. I've sinced calmed down, and I've done 110 m2 it was hard work 😊

Very helpful video. How many tubs of Easygrout did you use for that patio or did the 1 tub (3 packs ) cover it and what was its size?

How did you power wash it but not dilute the mixture between the slabs and it doesn’t act like grout because it’s just to diluted if you know what I mean ? Thanks

Great demo. Would you consider using a mortar gun to fill the joints then the hand squeegee 👍

I love you guys.. porcelain in brum is pour in the tin 😂
My builder really struggling with this as have a lot of drops on raised patio and keeps running away 🙈 he’s never used before but rep coming out Monday hopefully to give advice. Watched a lot of videos but think my space is a bit unique as not many sides here 🙈 🤞🏻 I can find someone to finish the job.
@mrabuilders6723 Жыл бұрын
Hello Anna, if it's running out of the sides of the joints then you're supposed to simply tape them over with gaffa tape to create a dam, pour the stuff, let it go off then remove the tape. Hope this helps, good luck.

@@mrabuilders6723 appreciate speedy response, builder has gone around with a bit of concrete mix to Butt the joints , easy grout rep hopefully coming on Monday but looks like I need to look for another builder to finish. My builder is 71 and doesn’t want to mess it up at this stage 🙈 sure I’ll find someone 👍🏻

Can you use a squeegy mop for a final tile clean?
@mrabuilders6723 Жыл бұрын
Hello Jeff, hope you're well mate. Is that a sponge headed thing? The mop, not you! Haha! If so then you certainly can, in fact it'll give the best results. If it's a proper "mop mop" if you no what I mean then it's best you don't, it'll leave marks/lines in your grout. Hope that helps?

Cheers Brian, appreciate your comment. I've used similar products to this but not this particular one and never in that heat and direct sunlight, but there's no way that, living in England, I'm going to wait for the weather to get worse before I do a job! Have a great day mate.

Wondering if it would be easier using a grouting gun lads
@mrabuilders6723 Жыл бұрын
Hello Mark, hope you're well. It'll be too loose a mix for a mortar gun. The plunger will pass straight through it and compress the water out of it. That's the problem with mortar guns, the mortar mix has to be absolutely perfect for them to work effectively.

Hello Brian, hope you're well. I have read that too regarding other products but not this particular one. This product has very specific instructions detailing the exact amount of water to use. Now, what the difference is between this product and others, I don't now. Maybe none! So it may very well work being wetter the better but I'm sure you know that as soon as you stray away from the manufacturers specifications then you could be in a world of trouble! Have a great new year mate.
