I believe you did a video a while back (it was several years ago) where you talk about transferring weight to the front leg, when does that happen? Should the front leg land with the knee bent or with the knee/leg straighter?

I'm a "Joe Schmo Nobody", but, when I was 53-years-old, I was taught a DIFFERENT METHOD, that worked GREAT at the Batting Cage. --- The KEY to the "Different Method", is that the "Greatest Bat Speed", is imparted by "Twist", or "Torque", NOT by "Forward Momentum". --- In other words, Greatest Bat Speed" is accomplished, using the "Fastest Method", of changing "Shoulder Orientation" from "Parallel-to-Ball", to "Perpendicular-to-Ball". --- The FASTEST WAY to change shoulder orientation, is merely by moving the feet, called, "Back Toe/Front Heel". --- No "Lifting of the feet. NO "Step Forward". Start with feet "Shoulder Width", focus on incoming ball, at proper time, TWIST THE TORSO, by... --- ...lifting back heel, so that only toe is contacting ground,... --- ...simultaneously lifting front toe, so that only front heel is on ground. --- This "Back Toe/Front Heel" Configuration, allows batter to ROTATE TORSO at MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY. --- By the end of the Swing/Twist, the Batter's eyes should STILL BE FOCUSED AT THE POINT, WHERE THE BAT CONTACTED THE BALL. --- Batters should be taught, that it is the BATTER'S JOB, to NOT WATCH THE BALL AFTER CONTACT!!! Watching the Ball AFTER Contact, is the COACH'S JOB, NOT the Batter's.
