I seldome use reg milk in baking recipes. I use vanilla flavored liquid coffee creamer for more flavor. Or another good choice is hazelnut or Italian cream coffee cream...yum. much more flavorful.

I NEVER add milk in any cake mixture . . . she can always reduce the amount of flour!

What kind of sugar is the sparkly sugar you used?

She used "sanding sugar." It's easy to find and buy. Just look for the cake decorating supplies in the baking aisle of any grocery store. It's the same kind of sugar that you could use to decorate frosted sugar cookies.

Bundt cakes holds up very well but generally 2-3 days with good storage. I like plastic wrap on an unfrosted cake then add to container and store at room temp.

to buy glitter sugar or powdered sugar that won't melt and other hard to find items..order from King Arthur flour company.

That is a 15 cup bundt baking tin - Nordic Ware's biggest bundt baking tin - the best baking tin in the whole world. I have so many Nordic Ware bundt baking tins that I have forgotten how many I have.

most Bundt or pound cakes cook for 60 minutes at 325 or 350

350 F or 175 C and it should take an hour or so to bake - need to keep your eye on the cake after 50 minutes as all ovens are different . . . hope this helps and Merry Christmas . . .

This is a very pretty cake but there are some issues regarding how information is being presented. The written "recipe" linked in the description oh this video is not really a recipe so much as a text version of the main points in this video. It does not appear to have a formatted recipe and I do not believe it mentions baking time and temperature for the recipe as made here. A formatted recipe is linked within that article, but the recipe does not contain instructions for baking in a bundt pan. At the very least, the baking temp and time should be verbally stated in the video and written out in at least one of the text references to ensure that anyone who can only hear the audio still has access to all of the information (text-to-speech obviously isn't going to help someone with a vision impairment if the info they need isn't there in the fittest place).

The video states 1 Tablespoon of vanilla extract yet it look like she is using a 1/4 cup measuring cup. Anybody else see that?

I did . . . I have never seen anybody use so much vanilla extract before. Have you noticed she did not add any raising agent. I use Nordic Ware bundt baking tin and my cakes do not have a dome on the top - but I bake at a lower temperature as per what Nordic Ware has told us to do.
