Hi guys. I want to tell you about the new favorite of my coffee bar. Introducing Mago Maga Roma Home Coffee Roaster! This roaster is great for beginners. It does not have a software that allows you to view the roasting profile like Artisan, but it does more than is expected for its price.
Roast your coffees as you wish with 5 different levels in automatic mode. It roasts with air and shows you the instant heat on the LED screen.
Thanks to the glass tube chamber, you can stop it at any time or observe the entire development process without risk. You can hear the 1st crack and the 2nd crack very clearly.
It is smokeless! I had the opportunity to test this machine many times. To observe smoke, you need to roast at level 5 and watch the coffee beans burn. However, it filters the smoke from burning coffee beans and you only need to open the window indoors. If you need dark roasted coffee beans and are going to roast them more than 2 times, I recommend you do this process outdoors. For medium dark roasted coffee beans, you can work at home.

@@namenl2205 When you medium roast 150g of raw coffee beans, there will be no disturbing smell, but if you want to roast the beans darkly, an intense smell may occur.

Hello my dear friend Damian 🙌 I watched the SR540 videos for you. I think roasting at home will become even easier with this upgrade. Auto profiles work really well. You can view the temperature instantly. The double glass roasting chamber is safer and does not burn your hands. It has a sloped base design so coffee beans are roasted evenly in a vortex of hot air. After this video I roasted coffee many times and got consistent results with 150g of coffee beans. The roasting difference between auto profiles will increase as the dose increases. In short, once you find a roasting level you like, it will be enough to press a button to roast coffee. Despite all this, if you need to view a roasting profile, you will need to have one of the expensive roasting machines. Side flap sometimes gets clogged as seen in the video. You need to help the coffee beans come out by moving the flap. There is such a problem in my prototype, but this problem has already been reported. I'm sure they will take it into consideration and solve this simple problem. This roasting machine meets expectations for its price ✅

@@ahmeterginkarahan Thank you so much. I do like that it is a smokeless unit as I have to roast outside, which depending on time of year the ambient temperature will greatly affect my roast. I did take note about the exit chamber with the side flap. I agree in hopes that will get solved. I am highly considering this machine. Please keep me updated for a long term review. "Charge temperature" does not apply to air coffee roasters. Because there is no drum that transfers heat, instead it is roasted directly with hot air. 🙌

@@Sokami69 The answer to this question can never be clear. For Mago Maga, starting roasting with 150g of raw coffee beans will allow you to get more balanced results. Auto level 2 program can give good results. By monitoring the color change of the coffee beans, you can switch to cooling mode when they turn from blonde to light brown. Of course, there are many factors such as ambient air temperature, humidity and density of the beans. It's not hard to find the taste you're looking for after a few tries.

@@ahmeterginkarahan 100% I used mine for the first time yesterday, just put in 150g green pressed medium setting watched the process, the 1st rolling crack at 6:30 then pressed cool at 7:30 as it reached the colour and development I desired. Very simple process and very controllable for future experiments. No smoke and all the chaff came off the beans. Very happy with the first "guess" results. Machine does feel very light though so I am dubious about its longevity. got a good deal on the startup crowdfund so not overly fussed if it doesn't last...
