Ingredients Used:
Coconut Cake🥥:
* 2 1/2 Cups Cake Flour
* 2 Tsp baking powder
* 1/2 Tsp baking soda
* 1 Tsp salt
* 2 sticks unsalted butter
* 1 2/3 cups granulated sugar
* 5 large egg whites (room temp)
* 1/2 cup sour cream (room temp)
* 2 Tsp Vanilla
* 1 Tsp Coconut extract
* 1 cup coconut milk unsweetened
* 1 cup shredded coconut sweetened
Coconut Cream Cheese:
* 1 cup unsalted butter
* 8 oz cream cheese (room temp)
* 5 cups confectioners sugar
* 1 Tsp Vanilla
* 1 Tsp coconut extract
* Pinch of salt
Shredded coconut for garnish

This is almost a dup for that one cake Tom Cruise gives as gifts every Christmas. Those egg whites gave it the lift. I'm wondering if fresh eggs would have been a different result? You could make pasta or custard or some homemade carbonara sauce with the yolks. Any recipes that start out with dividing a pound of butter is going to be amazing and this is no exception!😊
