Thank you for the great and detailed tutorial! Really enioyed the tip of adding an extra layer before you put on the glue, so that the paper doesn't darken! When cleaning them up without wanting to touch the back, one could probably use a qtip/ear cleaner! I'll do my first cabochon earrings soon, so thanks again :)

Could a glue like elmers glue work as the modge podge?

My modge podge dries cloudy underneath the cabochon, especially around the edges. I have tried using even less modge podge than you have and have the same results. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Some people use modge podge dimensional magic. Do you prefer just the regular modge podge? I am having some crystal like effects thru my glass from the dimensional magic I think.

I used a template and cut out the circles with my cricut maker.

I would recommend doing a test first to make sure the ink doesn't run.

make sure not to shake the mod podge, it can introduce air bubbles. instead you are supposed to roll it between your hands.
