Great Tutorial. I love how compact it is. With me the villagers go to sleep during the night, and iron golems don't spawn. I only get Iron during the daytime. How do I fix that?

i know it's been a while, but for clarity, perhaps building with a block other than dirt would be useful so it is easier to see the block counts. i know it's a bit of a pain, because the vanilla textures blend together, but it would make following along much easier. regardless, thanks for your excellent tutorials. my kids love 'em as do i. :)

I've only just begun in Minecraft and I was super excited to find this build. It looks simple enough and appears to work amazingly well. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work for me on Xbox (1.16 Bedrock). I've gone through the entire build 3 times now, block by block, counting every placement. Regardless, my villagers always seem to walk all over the bedding area, never gathering together in the water pool and have even pushed one another off the platform. Not once, did they spawn a single Iron Golem. The only thing I know is different in my build is the fact that I'm using kidnapped villagers (loaded in a boat and rowed right out of their villages). And they seem pretty mad about it to, as they stand up there on that platform, looking down at me with scorn in their eyes. :P Could that be the issue?

Build this today, works fine but then stops working. ive tried placing the bed the other way around, it then works but stops again after a while.. Do i have to flip the bed every 30 mins? -_-

I just spent a few hours building the extended version in our survival server, and then I connected both sides to one chest in the middle with multiple hoppers. It works perfectly (and it gives a lot of iron). So thanks a lot for the amazing video. There is just one problem. Cats spawn on the ground beneath the farm. The iron golems will still appear when there are cats, because they can't see the cats from their spawn area, but now I have a lot of cats running around. Does someone know how to fix that without re-doing the whole farm?

Would it work if I had 4 pods of villagers instead of just 2? If it’s roughly 2 iron golem per 45 seconds for 2 pods the rates could range around 480 but if there is 4 pods then around 960. Having 1k iron per hour would be insane

anyone know why golems wont spawn took me 4 in day games to build. when i got the zombie in place it spawned 1 but that is it. i even tried flipping the bed around

maybe a dumb question but how do i place these trapdoors on top of the beds? when i try to place them it just changes my spawn point to the bed i'm pointing at.

really good farm. At first it didn't work but there was just a small hill where the golems where spawning so i just had to dig that out. But the Zombie keeps despawning when i am too far. Any idea how to solve this? Mc version: 1.18.2
