I’ve made these twice now and they are a big hit in my house! I prefer potatoes over rice so today I took a bag of frozen potatoes, peppers, and onion and water sautéed it with frozen corn, a can of organic taco sauce (oil free) and used that as a filling. It was fantastic! The potatoes held them together so well and almost gave them a nice creamy cheesy feel. My new favorite meal!

I just found your channel this week after finding The Starch Solution, initially trying to find a solution to cure/stop my breakouts --but then I was like I need to lose 25lbs -- then I was like carbs are my spirit animal -- but then I was like I don't really know how to cook or like to cook-- finally, I was like OMG I think I found the piece to the puzzle I have spent decades [I am 51] trying to solve. Kiki, thank you!!! I made way too much rice last weekend, and I need an easy bake convenience food. I am so glad I found your channel. I am a lazy cook no matter what I am eating, so you showing me how to do it starch solution style makes it accessible to me. I have 200 lbs to lose and some health stuff I am HOPING this way of eating might help. I have been steaming veggies for breakfast and lunch and some dinners for a couple weeks. I am outside of the grocery store right now to get more onion powder and I guess cilantro for egg rolls now :)

I know this is about food. But been doing lots of your recipes,😋😍 and wow I noticed such improvements in my digestive system. Being on iron supliments ( I have low iron) i tell you having lots of veggies helps me so much. Also I feel so good!!!🙏🙏👌🥰

Hi Kiki, omg I made your eggroll recipe and it's a hit. They came out so delicious. I had with homemade chipotle salsa. And instead of brown rice I used pearl barely. I had pearl barely left over from a soup recipe before I went wfpb. Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised with the barely. I made all I had. About 5-6cups. It came out beautifully fluffy. Really reminded me of oats. So I googled the barely nutrition. It's packed with protein. Also, it can be used for so many different recipes. I actually had it for breakfast as my oats yesterday 😋. Then decided hey I can make Kiki's eggrolls. So I definitely wanted to share, if you haven't tried barely yet. I recommend. It is higher in calories, about the same in fiber as the steel oats, & keep me fuller a little longer. Always thanks for sharing and being a blessing🙏😁

For freezing - bake first and then freeze or assemble and freeze before baking? I’m going to make a big batch and eat some now and freeze the rest. New to WFPB and so excited to have found this channel!!

Plantiful Kiki How did you get the GF rolls not to fall apart? I made 11 of them and the bottom didn’t quite crisp up.🤔 The liquid from the filling I’m assuming made it soggy sally.🤷🏽‍♀️

I like the way you use Walmart....I feel they are a hidden gem for organic, vegan/plant-based options...even in the most remote, a Walmart can be found.

We don't get egg roll wrappers in the UK, but I imagine they'll work fine with tortilla wraps as an alternative. Look yummy, thanks! (I never quite understand why they call it egg roll when there's no egg in them :D )

Alex Deaton - try freezings it. I haven’t made her recipe, but I freeze cashew cream and it does great. I’ll report after I make her recipe. I’ll be freezing it in silicon muffin molds and then bagging it.

My daughter told me about your plant base way of eating. I have enjoyed watching your video and I am interested in the plant base meals. However, I am pre-diabetic and have a concern regarding consuming potatoes, rice, and other starchy foods - which affects blood sugar levels. Is this way of eating safe for a pre-diabetic?

Hi Kiki. I spent so much time making these today for a nice family dinner. However, when we took them out of the oven, the rice paper stuck to the parchment paper, and we could not get it off without destroying them. I’m so disappointed I have no idea what I did wrong.😢

I am in northern Indiana, and so far I have not found the egg roll wrappers at my local two Walmarts near me. BUMMER!. I was going to order them from Amazon, but I did not see them there, either, and the ones I found online, they will not ship to my area. Do you or anyone on here know where I can find a different brand of oil free Vegan egg roll wrappers? I know I can make them myself, but that is so time consuming.
