Trying this in Jan 2022 on bedrock xbox, found a God apple in a chest in creative mode in a mine shaft but when I went there in the survival version it wasn't there :-( I went through the nether to get there in survival and made a portal so I would come out next to the chest in the overworld. Saved before going through the portal and copied the map. Each time I go through the portal the chests and contents move/are different (on different copies). Not sure if it's just me but this method doesnt seem to work now :-( Edit: tested and seems like it only happens with mineshafts. Tried with desert temples and they always had the same loot inc the 1 that had a God apple :-)

Well that’s because the nether didn’t get updated. Only the over world with new biomes, mountains, and caves

@@constantelev8tion1 1.18 update = new world generation, new world generation = chunk base map update. You made a world before 1.18 which means chunks first loaded before 1.18 will not have the dungeons the chunk base map shows in 1.18

You can use bedrock formations kind of like a QR code to find out the seed ppl do it on 2b2t

Easier method: Find a spawner or chest somewhere that can spawn one. Don't open and save your world. Make a copy and open the copy to see if it's there. If not, delete the copy and make another. The loot is generated when you open the chest so you can spam new saves until you get it.

I tried this first I tried this finding in dungeon after 1hr I didn't got and the second time I tried this in desert temple and in my 4th desert temple I got god apple . Bedrock players find in desert temple it is easy

Yeah I don’t like this video. My best strategy is to go to a Badlands biome, because they have a lot of Mineshafts and search all of the mineshafts. Mineshaft chests have one of the lower enchanted golden apple rates, but they have so many chests in them that the likelihood it has a god apple is actually pretty high compared to other structures.

Unfortunately, Chunkbase discontinued support for dungeon finder in 1.18. For whatever reason...

You say this like it's a business. Chunkbase is only made by a few people and they discontinued *making* the dungeon finder, not support for it in 1.18. It was being made before it was said to be too difficult. It takes time and effort to do that, and you shouldn't expect to have everything.

It’s all opinions. Technically it’s not cheating because cheats aren’t on in the world you want it in. It’s like zero tick farms and AFK fishing. Some people think it’s cheating but its up to opinion and how people want to play the game. So it doesn’t make someone not a “true Minecraft gamer” if they prefer to play the game differently than you
