Just a quick video on where to find the metal slime in DQM: The Dark Prince. Nothing too crazy, but wait til we get into the King Metal Slime, who gives insane XP.
You can keep respawning them if you wanna do some early grinding, though I'd suggest doing that in the late game with king metals.

You can find liquid metal slimes in the circle of temper in the upper echelon near the cubic quarry. Going towards the bottom heading towards the temple. Not all the time but pretty frequently. Another is the cicle of indulgence upper echelon on dessert island. Usually spawning behind where you spawn if you zoom there. Also there's a chance a metal king slime can spawn in the corner om the left there

Daaaang! That's a lot of exp. I just beat the Cake world. One thing I'm trying to do is I fused a monster that has Whack as its first skill. The very first time I used it on the Cyclops, I killed it for 1,300 which was a ton for me. Then I tried using Whack about 20 more times and didn't hit it so it's definitely not very reliable around level 14. Then, I found the mini boss in the cake area. It took a couple of tries but I did manage to get Whack to kill her for 2,500 exp. Again, not reliable but when it works, it's great. What I'm trying to do now is breed and level up monsters with Wisdom 1 to fuse them into Wisdom 2 and so on to eventually have a monster with Whack as its only skill with very high wisdom.

If you're early game you can also use hatchet man and fish for crits on reload to kill.

They only spawn in clear (sunny) weather. So that might be why you see them more in winter/spring

Withering look scale with your monster lvl and ignore metal def

King Metal Slimes, once you've completed all content is insane. You can get a Monster from 1 to 100 in 20-30 minutes. And I think they don't flee as often, now that I've finished the game

You can get a monster with enough agility (1150 ish) with a multi attack spell like Kaboomle with Ultra Crafty Banger to reduce the elemental weakness of explosive Or Withering Look, which metal monster isn’t immune to. I got a Liquid Metal Slime with Kaboomle with 1205 and it move before any Metal King Slime can act those killing them all before they have a chance of fleeing

I got the DLC and created killing machine and uberkilling machine with multislash, robots are epic metal slime murderers

I had better success going from circle of indulgence middle - desserted dungeon all the way round to the middle ring then repeating. In one run I had 3 metal slimes spawn.

I'd rather scout them instead of beating for XP. You need some for a few metal king slimes for synthesis.

I think if you look in your monster book, it shows a list of the talents a monster can have.

I think it's random. Seems like some monsters are more or less likely for certain wards but idk.

No worries! Theresa story item called the cupcake cane that you get later! It multiplies gold and xp by 1.1

I beat the skeleton boss got the cupcake cane then beat the genie boss but I don’t have the boost? Did I miss something?

The boost only goes into effect if 1 of your MONSTERS is in your IN battle party so if 1 of your monsters in the RESERVE Slots the exp boost via that cane won't work.

hi, idk if yu already got the answer somewhere, but they are imune to elemental damage unless your monster has specific traits that go through their defence, otherwise you can use phisical attacks,specialy the ones that do a lot of hits

the entire metal slime family (sans the knight) all basically have a trait that nullifies magic damage.

A good way to deal with them is actually with Knuckle Sandwich since it bypasses defenses.

Yea I'm aware I just forgot to level up my liquid slime to be able to hit them. At level 40 its ability let's me hit them with explosive damage

But at the same time unlike the OTHER games its also a 1 turn WAIT skill so they may run away before it hits them.

Except Armored Scorpions can actually easily kill your monsters easily the Metal Slimes/Metal King ones can't.

@@veghesther3204 you still run the risk of getting outspeeded by the metal slimes and not having effective damage against metal slimes earlier into the game. Farming the miniboss monsters is viable if you need them for a certain recipe and if your mons are strong enough to take down bosses but not optimized to the point they can damage metal slimes (ex. You invested into spell skill trees since the damage scales harder early and physical damage takes awhile to catch up, but now you’re at a point where physical damage is actually needed against slimes and you don’t have a proper build for it yet)

You get one for free after turning in some mini medals. I think 20 are necessary.

In this game, they can if the monster has the meister trait of the spell's element to deal spell damage to metal slimes and enough power.

I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. I've done many dungeons and none of them ever spawned metal slimes of any kind. I don't even think I've seen a single one in my entire playthrough.

@@ZoofyZoofYou can manipulate spawns. There is that one dungeon where youvcan find them. Just go upstairs, come back and see if you found it. Then repeat if not. I cant remember dungeons name, but you can find it online.
