Easy Nanites and How to Get Them in No Man's Sky

Nanites are tough to come in No Man's Sky by when you need them, so, in this video I have put forth two suggestions for easy and unlimited nanites so you will never have to worry about them again. The single biggest tip to locate Curious Deposits is that planets only have one type of 3 star deposits. If you find Metal Fingers move on. If you find Sac Venom, move on. Once I knew this, finding them was quite painless. Before though, I has spent probably 10-20 hours looking, but on places that has Metal Fingers. Found lots of those!

Out of all tips this is the best one I've found to help find these deposits. I had no clue until I read this that only one type spawns per planet. So thank you for all of my time saved.

I began a new game after a 4 year hiatus. I found a Radioactive worm infested planet 15 hours in that had a cluster of 24 Fungal Balls! Built a base and a walled catch basin and now I just farm them when needed.

I managed to find one of these planets years ago with the curious deposits. Good weather, desert-y feel. Basically became my nanites ranch planet

I'm gonna try the runaway mold farm first. I just spent over an hour or 2 farming up whispering eggs from a barren low atmosphere planet to refine into nanites. I got 326 of them and they only gave me 7k nanites or so. My fingers are so tired from melee launching away from the swarms lul.

I've got a little copper mine on a paradise planet with a large sac venom field inside the base. Looks like I'll be mining sentinels there now also.

If you are a bit unscrupulous there is a much easier way to make a million nanites in less than an hour. It involves using the portable refiner glitch and larval cores.

I traveled to one of my old bases only to find this stuff everywhere. In one round I can get 10k nanites. I hadn’t been to that base in almost 3 years at this point. So sweetness! The odd thing is that it’s on a forsaken planet. Yeah that’s wierd.

How do u know if a planet is fungal? Is that a biome type ?

When you scan a planet, it shows what the planet grows. Using either your ship or freighter will show you this, albeit the freighter needs a scanner room for it to work.

Shooting sentinels from a shelter feels like cheese and makes me feel kinda bad about the ai and the state of the game…

im a cheesy player and usually hide behind something because the AI is horrible and bad at shooting.. sentinels differ but level 4 and 5 are useless and cant hit me feels kinda sad
