Make sure you're looking at the pixel resolution in the bottom right-hand corner in Google Images. The higher, the better.

you can filter by image size in google! in the image search, click on “tools” and then select large for the size

Don't forget to animate it so letters come onto screen individually, and then make sure to add gunshot sounds to every letter. You'll get an A+ for sure.

Back in high school I used to love fuxking around with the animations. I once did a project where we had to plan a vacation - I chose to do mine for new york. Highlights include: a plane flying accross the screen to arrive in new york, making rows of the empire state building eat a slide like teeth, and the original plane taking a long and complicated crash into my home state on the way home. Lmao.

This definitely won’t make an impact on whether you get an a or not but it’s definitely cool, and teachers will be impressed, my teachers don’t even do these kinds of things for their slides, they just do the same thing as the students and make the bare minimum, but adding extra flavor won’t hurt, except your time probably

@@Nmixxer14 I ended up finding it Powerpoint was just being silly and greying it out. I fixed it by going to Arrange and checking if it was grouped. After I verified it wasn't grouped, Powerpoint recognized its mistake and it worked next time.

The design without the information is great as a introduction/opening piece. When it comes to presentations, I recommend not to use animations due to time spent up "stage" and that it can feel tacky at a point. It should be straight to the point. The original "don't do this" is actually fine in it of itself. It could use some work, sure, but it's absolutely fine for a class presentation since the general format is clear and to the point.

I still remember how I went to study in France for a masters after my first degree and 2 years in leading advertising agencies. We needed to make a presentation, I made a neat presentation, not over the top, just some design and inforgraphics. And that “genius of a teacher” criticised me in front of everybody saying presentation should just be black text on white. Oh her students will be in for a surprise in the business and corporate world 😊
