These parts aren't cheap enough to make these practical, those fittings are $12-15 each needing 2, then $8 worth of pipe.

Probably cheaper at a actual plumbing supply then Lowes or home Depot. Also they will last a lifetime for the cost. Those crappy chicken feeders they sell in store usually last 2-3 years before they start breaking and cracking rendering them useless after a few seasons

the pipe is 25, each elbow is 12, glue is 8, then if you want a lid its nearly 30. i just priced one of these yesterday at home depot.

What kind of hardware cloth is used for that run?

I used the steel mesh kind that's 8 gauge. Its thick and very strong. They carry it at tractor supply and ace hardware stores
