Great to see a new ER2 enjoyer! A tip as you go through the campaigns that isn't really explained in the game: the gold dog tag icons (8:40 and 18:03) are special soldier characters that can be collected and then used by the player the next time they play as that character's faction on that campaign. Most missions in the game have one or two of these that spawn as bots somewhere. When they die, you can collect their tag with the Use key (the Inventory key that opens up all surrounding inventories won't collect the dog tag). Next time you're on the main menu, you'll see the names of usable tags you've collected that you can pick from when selecting a mission (and gold tags you've already collected will no longer spawn as bots in single player). You can spawn as that character within a regular squad once during that round. Usually it's the bottom name in the list of infantry squad mates before you spawn. Most of the gold dog tags are based on real historical figures present at that battle and have unique inventory loadouts. For example, in the Stalingrad campaign, the Obrez pistol can only be found in the kits of two of them. Also, collected gold dog tags can't be used by players in multiplayer, but they will spawn as bots and can be collected there as well.

That was intense, I like it, excited for the next video. Btw, you can increase the AI CPU consumption in the settings, what it did is decreasing the delay when the bots AI behaviour is updated. Ex. in 24:15 , you can notice how the medic has a delay before he changes from “standby” to “shooting” posture, you can decrease that delay significantly if you put the consumption to the “max”.

Not sure if I missed it, but can you play single player like in Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam or is it multiplayer only?

Game looks cool, and that BAR reload is crisp….. buuuuutt not as crisp as Call Of Duty 3s BAR reload.

How you get this game?

i have this on switch and it is basically unplayable. it is next to impossible to distinguish enemy soldiers against the backdrop no matter which mission you play.

Can you take German outfits in the looting system?
