I’m excited to get it mastered! Even though I can build most anything I want from scratch, it’s kind of cool to be able to bring in your model using your phone.

Brill! The possibilities for this are endless EVEN if the clarity/detail isn't perfect I can see this being very useful for me. Thanks again for another good vid. Because of discovering your vids about 1yr ago I've been taken over by 3d printing. 👍🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

It might not be perfect... but I have a feeling it wont be too long before this app or others look identical to the object! Also looking forward to AI Generating 3d objects! Keep up the great videos!

I agree. I am also going to be working on my skills... I am sure I can be better with the scan too. Keeping the distance away correct will likely help... Stay tuned. =) A new 3D printer arrived today though... so likely next week for more scanning.

Works great on Android as well. The advantages of Apple's LiDAR are only there in large form (like rooms) scans. Small form scans gain no detail from LiDAR.

I did confirm that there is no Android version at this time. =( The note states that they do intend to create one. I do not have a timetable for it though.
