In this tutorial, you'll learn how to sew a waistcoat jacket in an easy way and how you can achieve a neat finishing. Hello madam, thank you so so much! You have no idea how happy I am to find this video. I am a beginner and I drafted a pattern from an existing vintage waistcoat (early 1900s) that's built exactly like your waistcoat. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how the hidden seams at the sides worked. Thanks to your video I'll be able to assemble it correctly! pls ma, is it compulsory to always draft on pattern before cutting it on d fabric for all styles?

Not necessary, as long as you know what to measure, and always measure twice before you cut. But if you can draft the pattern, it will save you from any error as you can make any necessary adjustments before cutting on the fabric
