Easy & Simple Corrupted Gauntlet Guide 2023

I didn't want the guide to be perfect, the goal was to show how runs are really going to go as you learn to master them. Mistakes are okay and the RNG factors of the rooms makes it difficult to actually have a perfect run.

Side note: Shards are super important so make sure you are paying attention to the amount needed when you are doing your runs.
First run: Is a prime example of what a failed run may look like, we came up short on crystals and how to decide between not getting T2 armor or restarting. For the purpose of the video I restarted, and it gave me a chance to show the true RNG of each run.
Second run:
A great run, I go in with only 2 sips of restore, so I had to use less prayer to keep from running out before the fight is over. That should go to show, you can complete runs even when under equipped. My goal is to show the reality of running CG, not to only show perfect attempts.
Boss Fight:
His attacks: Mage/Range/Stomp(melee)/Tile attacks/Tornadoes
He switches his def prayer every time you attack him with the correct attack style 6 times.
1000HP
Side Note: You can walk under the corner of him when he attacks to force him to move back into the corner. Only do this when he is attacking otherwise, he will stomp you for high hits.

Not sure why I forgot to say this, always pray RANGE when you walk in! He always starts attacking with RANGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pray RANGE before you walk in!!!!

I really enjoyed this guide. I have ran the gauntlet a few times but I have not been able to complete the corrupted version just yet. There are breaks I take from the game and every time I come back I watch the most recent guide for what I intend to do. As for the guide itself, it was easy to understand and had all the information I was looking for. This has been by far one of my favorite guides to watch. I hope you put out more great content like this. Thank you.

FYI Prifddinas Spirit Tree doesn't require high farming as the spirit tree is already there so you don't have to plant it.

Pathing is pretty weird. You can control this alot more than this. With the way he's doing it you're going to get alot of burners where you just need to reset

2 vials is more than enough btw, don't really need the 3rd one.. If running low on prayers during the fight (from too much rigor / augury and not enough attacking boss), you can just pray defensive only and ignore the offensive prayers. But I legit never have ran out of prayer after using just two vials, and I even condense them into single 4 dose potion before entering in and drink 2 of the 6 doses during preparation phase. Also the bear drops ~150 shards, since they always drop some amount of them and then you can break the weapon upgrade to that 80 shards you mentioned. So they're well worth killing especially if you have a tier 2 weapon by that point. And if you find 2 bears, the second will not drop melee upgrade, but actually drops randomly either bow or staff part. The boss also does sound que when changing the attack styles (and does animation, which is bit hidden by the 3 different indicators that you have on the boss), you don't have to count his attacks at all. Just listen to the audio and if your prayer get's disabled, switch to prayer tab really quickly and see what you were last on.

You should probably have mentioned briefly about how the weapons damage is balanced around the prayers so the halberd does the most dps if you haven't gotten around to cox on an iron or can't afford the scrolls on a normal acc. Also drinking a potion doesn't stall attacking just makes it so you need to click back on the npc before your attack cycle comes back up. i personally do not like your prep pathing, check out the sins of the father by release; settled coaching jimmy is probably the best prep guide i've ever seen. otherwise good job.

T2 armour is not needed at all just go for t1 and save yourself loads of time

Bad advice, t2 prep until you get enough boss experience. Did you forget it’s a beginner video? Go flex somewhere else nerd

"we start slow" - litterally 10mins later he goes berzerk like a dude from auctionhouse, and you cant understant one thing whats going on. -rep for this ´guide´
