After trying several honeycomb rice cake mixes, I find Huong Xua Mikko the easiest and the simplest. You can simply add water to the yeast and cake mix, wait 2 hours then steam/bake it to have a delicious batch of rice cakes. I decide to have more fun by adding fermented glutinous rice so the cakes will be more flavored and foaming, and adding some colors with pandan juice and palm sugar.
