Coddle is from the word Caudle meaning boil, the sausages are boiled not fried

Far from a real coddle for a start you shouldn't fry anything and definitely no garlic you might think its a coddle trust me its not and you should remove the word authentic

This would be nice to eat. However, it is not proper coddle,nor is it Irish stew. Its like saying chilli con carne is the same as curry! Do your research.
