I use a spray bottle with water to loosen the dirt ... less hair comes out. I actually spray my entire head with water then take my braids down. It’s quicker and less hair comes out 😀

Dry detangling causes more hair loss and breakage. I apply a hot oil treatment. It dissolves the build up and decreases hair loss. Then I detangle with my fingers. Then I use a detangling comb. At this point my hair is ready for a shampoo condition and style.

Although her hair was “dry” (no product applied) her hair was moisturized. Every day she spritzed her hair with water and oiled both her scalp and hair about every 3 days. It’s mentioned in the video 💛

Ok. I missed that part about the oil. Thanks for sharing the front vs. the back of the braid for speeding up the braid removal process.

Even when I spritz my hair with water/aloe and oils every day, I still use water and conditioner to take my braids down after wearing them as a protective style for a while. It’s better safe than sorry

I untangle each one as I take out the braid. I don't want to go over the whole head a 2nd time.

Afrikan pride pre shampoo is the best for taking out your braids you should try. Its much faster

No thank you. This works perfect for my clients and I. I explain in the video why I don’t use liquids or creams while taking braids down. Thank you for the suggestion though 💛

I guess this is why I don't get my hair braided. When I braid it I can never keep it for more than a week, if I am lucky two weeks.

@@shoryacione5175 there is a chemical they spray on the hair that can be removed with a vinegar-water soak before you braid your hair. There are a lot of videos that shows you how to remove the chemical on the hair.
