I have a large yard with lots of leaves to cleanup in the fall. This is a video of a simple plywood attachment that I made to keep the leaves from just sliding off of the sides of loader bucket when I push them onto piles to compost.

I am able to do a fair job with my 6' front end loader. But with the addition of your modification, I will be much more effective. When I googled this, your idea was pretty much what I had in mind. Thanks for the idea and taking the time to put it on KZfaq.

I have huge piles right now. I've been composting most by using my 1025r bucket, and a trailer. After some real research this is the smartest set up

Hi, thx for the idea, think I'll build me something like this. Even with not pushing the pile, I'd like to expand the bucket size to dump leaves in it, which I pick up with my mower/catcher...save on trips to the dump pile.

Thanks for posting this. My son and I copied your idea and it worked well enough that I am going to fabricate one from steel for use next fall. Only issue we had was our bucket tended to slowly lift up, leaving leafs underneath. I've been thinking of how to incorporate a lawn sweeping roller, something with metal rake like tines, at the front of the scoop. If the roller was rolling in opposite direction it would lift up leaves and thrown them into the scoop as you drive forward.

Making it from steel and having it fold flat would be a good idea. How about an air knife type nozzle hooked to a leaf blower to raise the last little bit. Make a video. Thanks for watching.
