I’m so impressed how you take an item and you able to figure out measurements and reproduce it! Then on top of it you got little tricks like the pocket edges you glued so things could slide inside without catching! I noticed and watching you and saying wow! Quite talented!

Just a little tip for those who don't have a long arm stapler, use a thick piece of card, open stapler up , place card under paper, stapler into paper, remove card and close staples with a blunt knife.

P.s I’d keep it that width, and then you can add a pen to the space you have, it’s soo pretty

I love it. I would keep it that width and just add a pen/pencil sleeve there on the inside edge. I think thats exactly what I am going to do. TFS!

You can add tabs on the inserts because of the extra room. Just an idea for you!

Brilliant tutorial as always Ann ❤️ I stitch my handmade book inserts by poking 3 holes in the crease and match the thread to the cover colour. I also make junk journal books with all my scrap papers and water colour paper ones for my arty friends for added variety.

Fantastic Ann! I’ve just made one for 3 notebooks that I had so mine is more like the passport size. I’m just waiting on getting some elastic as I don’t have any but I love it 🥰. Thanks so much for sharing this so clearly. Are there any problems with sticking cardstock to the plastic of the laminated cover? Do I need special glue?
