This easy watercolor bluebird makes beautiful cards and paintings. This was the favorite card done in the in-person classes! Work step by step and be sure to get enough color in the background for your white flowers to stand out.

COLORS:
Blue - I used Cerulean plus a little bit of Phthalo Blue but any light and pretty blue will work.
Red - I used Quinacridone red. Any red that leans to pink or purple will work well. Reds that look more orange won't work well in the sky, so leave those out.
Yellow - any yellow
Branch - simplify and just paint brown if you want, or use blue and brown.
Black - Tube black or mix a dark blue with brown.

-------------------------------- ABOUT DEB WATSON --------------------
I'm a well known artist and love to teach.
My parents discouraged art as a waste, so I became a nurse, but kept painting. Eventually my art began selling and winning awards. I finally became a full time artist late in life.
Exciting news - I have a new free watercolor school website coming in 2023.
Subscribe to my youtube channel or keep checking debwatson.org for the new site.
