Glad to see this lesson. I have hundreds of coneflowers in my garden! All colors. I let them go to seed in the fall and the birds ride the cones with the wind eating the seeds. Soon, I’ll have thousands thanks to the wind and the birds!

I’m so bummed, I had to return back to work after my 6 mo medical leave! So now my painting time has been severely reduced and I’m sooo tired when I get home 😞😞 I miss the quality painting time with you and my other favorite artists! This project is awesome, thank you Ellen!

This was great!! A friend loves these flowers and I've never painted them, I've also not been able to paint or anything else this year due to a surgery that went very sideways and had to relearn to use my arm and found out part of my diaphragm is paralyzed and crushing my lung, along with loads of nerve damage in my chest, neck...well, yea, very very sideways. Anyway... I really want to paint her the flowers she loves because she has helped me with my shoulder so much and other stuff. But, I'm overthinking it SO badly that even though I've sketched a bunch in my cheap sketchbook, I get so nervous to get it on the watercolor paper, my heart pounds and I get nauseous. I know I'm overthinking it... plus, any time it's something specific they want, I feel like all my brains fell out of my head. I've tried for weeks and just stare at the card! I want it to be special, so, especially since I've not done anything real for a good while, I'm psyching myself out. Nobody else is putting the pressure on me but me. But, I've done one and my husband liked it, but its awful, truly. Way too busy and muddy. So, I have tomorrow to get it done as Tue is my last day to give it, and a small watercolor kit I'm putting together for her since she wants to try it, get it done tomorrow 🤦‍♀️😬 I know I know... not very bright. But even wearing oxygen, I swear I've lost more brain cells then ever!! I don't have enough to lose any!! :) So, I'm going to look at my photos i found from years ago and have no idea what they were other then cute :) So... I really appreciate the inspiration and help to try mine out again and just get it over with :) Thanks again!!!!!
