Hey Legendary Strays, I would agree that the Can’t Catch Me Trophy is one of the hardest trophies for Stray but this video will show you an easy way to avoid, evade the Zurk as well as where to move and go while not getting caught by the Zurk during your first encounter with them.

Hey guys! I finally found the best strategy to be done with this trophy. Here’s what I did: removed the disc from my ps5, put it in its case and put it back on the shelf never to be touched again. Hope it helped, good luck🙏

So glad you did Step by Step. I literally paused it, watched the video for a few seconds, unpaused and went through and just copied exactly what you did on the screen, paused again and so on. Literally got it in 2 tries after watching this! THANK YOU!

I know this is very well too late of a response but I’m glad you got it. I was hesitant to do step by step at first because the video would take too long and editing it would be ugh but I guess pushing myself to do it paid off and helped you and the other Stray lovers out there. 😃

Imo this trophy is just straight up bad design. It's almost entirely RNG when the zurks will jump at you and what their trajectory is, making it extremely difficult to avoid them.

Hey Some Man, you are right to say that the jumps are RNG, heck sometimes even their movements but what I notice is that depending on how fast you move, you can somehow tell where they would be before they start moving at you. 😇

Dude. I tried to get this for 3 hours straight, turned off the game, then a week later again. I just watched your video and got it right after like 5minutes. Thanks for your magic! The middle part with the tight corridor got me all the time

This is the hardest fucked up trophy in the whole world. Not even fall guys hardest trophy or even gta v doomsday heist hardest trophy is as hard as this piece of shit trophy. I even think Bloodborne will be easier to platinum than this shit trophy. Thanks for the guide but it don`t work good for me. Fuck trophy hunting now and fuck this shit of struggling with rubbish all day long.

Good video, here are some more tips for people who are struggling! Only took me about 20 minutes with this video and these tips combined (some of these might be repeated from the video I watched it last night in addition to a lot of reading forums so sorry for any repeat info) 1. Rebind FORWARD to the left trigger button, this let's you move left to right with the analog stick while maintaining ALL of your forward momentum 2. If you turn the camera and the cat at the same time, you will turn MUCH sharper than only turning the cat. I didn't have to use this too much but it is useful for juking the zurks in emergencies 3. For some reason, this felt way easier with a CAPPED FRAME RATE of 30FPS. Honestly, not sure if this is snake oil or not, but I've seen some others say the same thing. If you are on PC or PS5 try capping the frame rate to 30. I wonder if there is some weird fallout-esque stuff going on where parts of the engine are tied to frame rate. Good luck!

I didn't know this was a trophy and see that I miss that one from the start, I beat the game 6x, 5 normal, 1 speed run, this is the only one missing I cannot pass as they always got me, but I hope to get it this time from your video as it has some VERY usefull tips in it. so I thank you for that, I might get it this weekend to get this trophy with the platinum one as I looked everywhere for the last trophy. thank you again :) EDIT: after 30+ tries when it got me at the stairs or close at the end (S part), I finally got that trophy. it wasn't easy, but compleeted all trophies. thank you again for the outstanding explanation ^^

I saw a post on a Reddit thread that recommends changing your forward movement to L2, so you can press L2 and R2 to run forward and just dodge right and left with your analogue stick. That and this vid makes it much much easier to finish.

great guide man. I did all of stray except this trophy on launch day and pretty much gave up on trying to work out this one (there were no gudes) Someone recommended your video, so went back to stray after a 3 month break and got it within about 30 minutes. Really well done and patient guide.

You are an utter legend for this! I managed to figure out about half way for myself but your tip for the alleyway was a godsend and I was able to use the strategy for the rest of the level to get to the end. God I hated this trophy.

Nothing will help you, its 100% luck but if your on Pc and have a rather good one, go to settings and limit the Fps to 30, i had about 200+ trys with uncapped frames and with 30 i hit it first try, i even went back to see if that was luck, nope, i did it also the second time without problems... it looks like the game engine scales with fps or something, anyways i hope some of you benefit from my findings. But even with 30Fps it looks like some starving and zickzacking helps a bit.

Holy crap, you're a genius! Thank you so much! I don't know how did you figure it out but it works. After like an hour and a half of trying I switched fps to capped at 30 and made it on my second try. Now that kind of explains why when I watched a few of those console-based guides zurks looked a lot more... docile. It's all in the frames! He-he.

my brother in Christ, thank you. That tight alley way was killing me every time, also the bait for the right-hand door was 100% better than going through the left. The entire run can be easily managed (to an extent) except that tight blue alley, just keep prodding away until the the RNG gods work in your favour. I did about an hour of attempts and eventually stuck. Good job man, you 100% helped in my run for sure.
