This rich and flavorful Nigerian delicacy is perfect for any occasion and sure to impress your family and friends. Follow along as I take you through each step of the cooking process from preparing ingredients to simmering the soup to perfection.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of ground Egusi (melon seeds)
- 1 lb of cow leg (pre-cooked)
- 1 lb of cow skin (pre-cooked)
- 1 lb of fresh chicken (cut into pieces)
- Dry Fish
- Okporoko ( Stock fish)
- 1/4 cup of palm oil
- 1 medium-sized onion
- 6 habanero pepper and 2 red bay Pepper 🌶️ (Blended with the onion)
- 1 bunch of spinach or bitter leaves (washed and chopped)
- 1/2 cup of crayfish (ground with Opeyeh (native Maggie)
- 1 tablespoon of Cameroon pepper 🌶️
- Salt and seasoning cubes to taste
Note: Serve hot with your favorite side dish, such as pounded yam, fufu, or rice.
