I enjoyed your cleaning ideas! I used to clean my house top to bottom once a week, and it took about 6 hours. Here’s what I do now: I have 10 rooms in my house. I clean 2 rooms each weekday, no cleaning on weekends. It only takes me about an hour each day, and my house is always clean! And I’m not exhausted!

I am a lost cause.. I vacuum sometimes 3x daily. My roommate has 3 cats so I clean, clean, clean everything. One tip is that I never leave a dish in the sink. I find that so easy to wash dishes right away. I also clean the bathroom every day.(but I only have 1) You are such a beautiful and Vibrant human being. You and Jason are absolutely adorable.🤗 .

I clean my bathroom pretty much every night, except the shower, that’s done when I Shampoo my hair twice a week. I wipe down my counters every night, make my bed every morning and sweep my floors every night while cooking. I dust and vacuum every Saturday morning with laundry. Sunday is church but lately online and ME time. I pray anyone who reads this has hope and believes that God will be there when he is asked. Trust in him and he will be there...Love❤️ and smiles!

Good! A person who doesn't want to clean on Sunday. I don't either. There are plenty of cleaning videos that suggest we do our cleaning on Sunday. I believe Sunday is the Lord's day.

I follow Flylady Kat’s plan.. Simple and never spring clean again💗

I do not make my bed first thing in the morning as recommended by many. I like to wait and pull back the covers and air it out as I get ready for the day, Since body’s create moisture under the covers.

I have a daily list, ie dishes, laundry, 10 minute pick up!, Sort anything that comes through the door, plan/prep dinner for next day. Than I have a weekly list. I add one item from weekly list to each day. At the weekend I’ll do any remaining weekly items plus add in one longer period clean, eg the oven. I am trying to de clutter at the moment too so lots to do.

I ❤ this schedule. It makes cleaning feel less overwhelming by doing one piece of the house each day instead of trying to do it all in one day. It’s so difficult to find all that time for it being a regular person and not on KZfaq.

I minimize cleaning supplies and cleaners. Then put a set of cleaners on each room that i use in that room.

This made me so grateful for my small home. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. Can't wait to start loving my little home the right way for me!

I tried your method this week. Oh my gosh...love it. I feel like i got so much more cleaning done in much less time. Doing about one hour a day i was able to complete a much more thorough cleaning. Not sure why it is so different but concentrating on just one thing made process move quickly.

Great tips. 👍🏼Since I am much older, I do have help now...But that being said, I still do the clothes and other tidying up. In the morning, the first thing my husband and I do is make the bed together. Still after all these years. 😍A lot of things you do and shown will help so many. I used to clean from top to bottom every Friday, and I like your idea much better. I have a much smaller house now so I do some things every week, but not all of them. I am with you that all day cleaning is a thing of the past. Great video.

I wipe every knob in the house every other day. The Norwex cloths are super helpful. Just need hot water.

I really need this.. all my “routines” have been falling apart since I went on sick leave almost a year ago.. and living in an apartment so we have shared laundry room we have to book so that is pretty much the only thing I have on routine every week and usually same day but needed this “kick in the butt” and get some routines in place because I try to do everything that same day 😂 fails every time and I feel so bad about it..

I love this Leslie! Great cleaning tips and love the schedule. You motivated me to clean thoroughly two rooms. They had not been cleaned thoroughly in awhile. My mom called that a lick and a promise. lol One tip I recently learned for those mishaps around the bottom of the toilet is to use shaving cream. Apparently it makes it smell good and it looks real shiny afterwards.

I live in an apartment and have a small stacked washer-dryer combo. Mondays is for the bed sheets, which take 2 full turns of the dryer to dry. While those are being washed I do my dusting. Tuesday is clothes laundry and towels. I live alone so I use the same towels all week. Then I vacuum and wash the kitchen and bathroom floors. On Wednesday I use a Swiffer duster and dust the books on the bookshelves and clean glass and mirror surfaces. I clean the stove and counter every time after cooking. I don't cook every day, I try to make 2 days worth of food at a time. I need to clean out my refrigerator too. What a mess!

I have my own cleaning business and spend weekdays cleaning as a job. I have learned to do damage control at my own house(keeping it presentable) and occasional full house deep cleaning. Not perfect but sufficient:)

We’re in Texas and been through a long week with snow, power and water outages. So thankful that we weren’t w/o power too long and our water came back on this evening. I am always cleaning and tidying up, so hopefully tomorrow I can get back to it. ❄️🙏💕

As crazy as this seems I really love to clean 🧽 🧼 my mom (God rest her soul ) taught me to love it because you have to do it anyway so why not like it right ? I can’t thank you enough for this video! Having been exhausted from being a long hauler from Covid-19-I just couldn’t bear to face housecleaning again. I was so far behind. But the day after watching this, I marked my week’s housecleaning plan and went to work with excitement. After this first week, I am amazed at what I have accomplished after weeks of just doing meals and laundry. You have no idea how you have removed my housecleaning anxiety. With help from my husband vacuuming and moving stuff, we are now anxious to open our doors to our friends again. Blessings to you and yours❣️

Love this one!! so true about making your bed daily. If my bed is not made, I feel, the rest of my day is off. (just how my mind thinks). The Norwex mop is the bomb!! IT'S WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! A load of laundry a day is, TRUTH!! I clean out my fridge on Thursdays. Also, I make sure to put on a pair of shoes daily. even if it is with Pj's just makes a world of difference, for me.

2 sets of sheets per bed. So when it's time to change sheets (my day is Mondays). I can strip and throw the clean ones on and make my bed. No panic at 9pm that sheets are still in the wash

Absolutely love your videos! I have been daily scheduling my home maintenance for the past 6 months and it has made a HUGE difference in my life. I don't feel so overwhelmed. When it's broken down to a little each day, it makes my life less stressful. I do allow for flexibility in my schedule and will sometimes switch days if things come up...it's ok ! I don't beat myself up over not getting something done. :-) You and Jason are such an inspiration. Sending love and prayers for you both.

I’ve adopted your plan for one task per day and the difference is amazing after one week. I don’t procrastinate; I don’t get tired and the house already looks and feels amazing. I’m wondering what day you buy groceries or send your husband out for food. I watched your annual menu planning video and revived my daily themes and rotation lists. Leslie, I love your idea about a cleaning schedule for the week. I do find that doing a load of laundry a day does help because I already do that. Yes, I did use to do laundry on Saturdays but that was when I worked. I am retired now so I can do a load a day now. I like it better. I will go check out the other website you suggested for sure. I hate mopping! I am so glad my hubby does. I also despise the bathroom but I do it. Love the norwex crystsls as a cleaner. Sunday has been my cleaning day including laundry, think I'm gonna switch the cleaning based on your tips and just do laundry on Sundays (tried doing it during the week after, never fails I forget about it..😲). Love the tips.

I clean the way you suggested. I too have a big home and don’t like to spend a whole day cleaning it. 😉. So I basically do like you but I split my vacuum and mopping days between floors. I have zero carpet and a 3 story large home. If I vacuum and mopped the whole place I don’t think I could stand up straight for rest of week lol. So I do upstairs vacuum and mop including bathroom floors on Wednesday and then downstairs on Thursday. My husband helps me with the lowest level because he is main one using it. So it is a win win. I love his help. Oh and I too don’t always mop each week lol. Then I have other things I do to deep clean like baseboards and shutters etc as needed. It really helps to have one specific chore each day. Much more doable for me. Thanks for the website I’m going to check it out

Thanks for the inspiration to get back on track. , I have a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly cleaning schedule that I was following last year, but with Covid I just fell off the bandwagon big time.

I watched this video when it came out and ironically I was cleaning at the time and was too busy to comment....sorry friend 😚. I am now too "old" to have a clean day and I agree since Covid I've had no company and no fire under me to clean up. Motivational video....loved it 😊😊😊

I have a friend who both her and her hubby work full time. She told me they all do a 15 minute clean up each night. It helps her a lot to not have to spend her whole weekend cleaning.

I love this idea! I have 4 kids, so I'm really trying to stick with holding them accountable for their parts. But of course I give in. They're already so busy with school, and I want them to play, I think guilt gets me. I think everyone will have some differences in daily things. Like I have to vacuum my living room everyday. And sweep several times since I have little ones. (Or I have them help since it's usually their meal cleanups)... but I do love the routine idea! 💖

I like to clean on Thursdays and Fridays - 2 or 3 hrs per day- on other days plan for visitors and shopping. Mrs. Meyers lemon verbena and honeysuckle products are so great! Like to use lemons to clean the microwave. Have a nice weekend😊

Cleaning schedule is what I am going to have to try because I am unable to clean in one day due to my health. So maybe that would help me and my husband. Hi Leslie 🤗 ... enjoyed the video & yes I tend to super clean before guests too! But, now being home more have everyday to do a few jobs to keep things rolling along. Here are some of my tips: Firstly I actually start my diffuser(s) going first with an energizing scent as it is a great motivator to get me going; especially when I’m struggling. After vacuuming I drop a good number of essential oil drops on my steam mop head to clean floors. Since they recommend not putting anything in the water this is best. To clean gas range which has a stainless steel tray I use Mrs Meyers lemon verbena to break through the grease & leave a beautifully clean & streak free shine on it. As the grates are still down I just spray over everything at the start on grates & throughout. Easily wipes off on grates as it cuts through grease. No leftover smells. I tend to use this a number of places in my kitchen just because it’s a super everyday cleaner! Finish all that up with a fresh cup of coffee ☕️ or tea 🫖 as a great reward for jobs well done 👍❣️ Happy cleaning y’all!!!

Now, get this, sometimes I do get busy during the day, and when that happens, I’ll sometimes be making my bed at 4:00 pm. Doesn’t matter that bed time for me is 9:00. Also, coat your hands first with thick moisturizer- like castor oil. Put on cleaning gloves. After 1/2 hour of cleaning it’s like a hand treatment at the spa, instead of dry, cracked hands

I have a really really small home, less than a 1,000 sq ft so we tend to clean it all in one day and then just keep things picked up. I also have a channel so as you know that takes time to film and edit lol. You have a beautiful home! I can't wait to see what you have planned for the fridge clean out, mine needs it as well.

Ya I couldn't dust one day and wait to vacuum but I dk I probably could since I pretty much have to vacuum everyday..I really need a robo vacuum. I do one room top to bottom thing except if I had bathrooms I'd do all those in one day like u do.. but ya the one room a day thing and them am and pm15 min tidy up works for me

I appreciate the cleaning tips. How can you not vacuum after dusting? Seriously, I've tried this & my body & brain find it completely unacceptable. Growing up, we kids had chores. Mine was dust then vacuum. Both parents wrked & Mom gave the 3 of us chores. Every Monday & Thursday I had to dust & vacuum every single room. No excuses. It's imprinted now. I'm in my 50s & dust/vacuum my home every Monday & Thursday evening still. Oh, that evil Mom. Also, I'm crazy about your attic flooring & shelves. Oh my goodness, it turned out so great.😊
