Washi tape works too. I have a billion rolls from craft stores and it doesn't stick too much.

Have a light hand, and trace it lightly with brown eyeshadow before going in with the actual eyeliner. Do the lines before you fill it in so if you mess up there's less to clean up, and rest your elbow on a flat surface if you can

⚠️Don’t use scotch tape!! It can cause breakouts of acne if you rip it off⚠️

I use scotch tape I just stick it to something else a few times so it isn't that bad

Adhesive is adhesive. Don't matter if it's scotch or sephora. Yes, "removing" some of the adhesive by pressing on tape on back of hand a few times lessens its intensity bc it picks up skin cells & oils, creating a slight barrier.
