Easy Wire Tree Tutorial

In this video I will show you step by step how to make a wirework tree out of copper wire and gem stone chip beads. We will go though how to form the tree and how to secure it down onto a large pebble shape stone. You can display these trees inside one of our domes or leave them free and set them inside a pot or some sort of dish.

This is just what I needed. I learnt to make these trees by putting the stones on the wire first. I do like the trunks of the trees when they are started wire first, it gives them more character. I've seen different ways of adding the beads to the branches, but this the first tutorial I've seen that adds chip beads in this way, and you demonstrated it so well, so thank you very much for making my day ;)

You could create your tree from bottom of dome piece of wood & just set the dome on top

Maybe put some blue/green painters tape on the bottom of the stone to hold the wires in place. It would stop them from slipping. Jmo

You don't say how long your wire is so if I don't have a round bucket you can't make it?

Hi Deborah, this is just a little hack that can help save time and make sure all your pieces of wire are the same length as each other, but you can make your tree to any size you wish to, so you can use this tip with any circular items you have at home if you wish. If not you can still make your tree, it will just take a little longer to measure and cut your pieces of wire. 💖

Most craft stores with a bead section will have some and on Amazon look under gem stone chips.
