As an Authorized Siser reseller, I love that Siser stepped up to the plate on this one! A couple of questions, though? Why did Siser decide to make it smaller than a regular sheet of paper? Other transfer papers come in standard letter and tabloid sizes. Are there plans to make a tabloid or A3 size sheet? Maybe a roll version of this?

If I cannot apply the transfer to my garment right away, how long can a printed transfer sit after printing before I can use it and get the best benefit from it?

I understand that this product works on substrates other than textiles i.e. wood, canvas etc. If it should be washed prior to use what do you suggest to do for these products?

Dumb question I am sure but here goes. I have a brother scan n cut dx125. Once I have the image and let it dry etc. Now I want to press it on a cotton item but before doing so I have to put it on my cutting mat right. Do I have to change this to an svg? do I do cut outline only? I wish this step was actually done. New to this process. Familiar with HTV.

I know this is a replay but thought I’d ask a question and see if I get an answer to this….so you can use iron on on other surfaces besides garments such as wood, cardstock, etc. What about this new Easy Color DTV? Can you use it on other surfaces as well? Thank you for this great informative video!

We have had success applying EasyColor to various surfaces. It is not necessarily made for those kind of applications, so it is all experimental. You also want to make sure the substrate you are applying to can withstand the heat of the application as well.

I tried this and love it. I do however dislike the mask. I waited the 24 hours and still struggled with the mask to the point I didn’t use it. I have been using expression vinyl printable HTV and this is more flexible and easy to work with.

Got a roll of this stuff and a new inkjet printer on the way. Seen some people having problems but like as you mentioned i assume they are having an issue after using the heatpress to dry the ink.

Have seen quite a few review videos with wash tests and each one had real issues with the print not coming up with the transfer mask (even when the ink dried/cured fully), ink bleeding after first wash and vinyl lifting on sides after first wash. With the product being pricey per sheet and not a full letter sheet is there any guarantee or refund if it doesn't work?

Keep the content coming this could be a game changer. One question you need to ask if some one is having trouble. Are they using OEM ink or using knock off ink?

Love the product. But, the price for each sheet needs to come down. The cost for Siser to make DTV vinyls is in the pennies. Whereby Siser is profit margins are 200 times then what the consumers should be paying. I’m waiting for other competition to soon compete with Siser EasyColor DTV that would be a fare market value to purchased from.

Have you ever had color migration when using easy color on colored polyester material?

Dye migration can be a risk with polyester with any material that is applied to it. The heat can cause the dye to gas through the material. You can lower the temp a bit more and apply for a little longer. It can alleviate that.

So I tried the new DTV last night and my only complaint is that my project did not want to stick to the special carrier (transfer) sheet. Other than that, I love the feel of the finished product.

You may want to let your print sit overnight before you mask it. It may be because your have too much saturation.

It's been a year, and I'm watching year-old videos and seeing all kinds of lifting off the carrier, when trying to use the TTD, wear & tear after 15 washes, etc. Not good, for such an expensive product. PLEASE tell me you have fixed these problems! I've just started watching this video, but still, it's a year old, as well. Thanks for getting my hopes up, since I can't afford to get into sublimation.

totally separate ways of decoration...the color vibrancy will be dependent on your home inkjet printer. Also the finish option for EasyColor can be glossy or matte

yes, you shouldnt have an issue with a tote bag. You may need to apply more pressure to the application

I order the easy color HTV it came on a roll with a clear carry sheet. I use my epson printer to print and the image was not dry it smeared to touch. I tried several set with same results. I noticed on other videos the easy color had a grey color on one side unlike the roll that I ordered. I ordered the easy color sheets 8.5x11 but I have not tested them yet. Is there a different in the sheets with grey side than the clear carrier.

Yes it was easy color. I received an email about the new product. I watched the video and order I also order the mask sheets. Maybe I was sent the wrong thing.here’s my order #191465 it clearly says easy color. I ordered around 8/3.

Hi, so I made acouple of T-shirt’s with the dtv and followed all the instruction, so the next day when we wore the tshirts after a couple of hours the design started to bleed and the design started to come off. Please help

We recommend you wash your garment first before you wear it. It sounds like you had over saturation with your ink. Washing it first will eliminate that bleeding.

I just tried this product and waited 24 hours before wearing and haven’t washed it as well. It has been 36 hours since the shirt was made. I dribbled water on it from the condensation of my water bottle and now I have ink blotches on my design.

You want to wash the shirt first before wearing it....give it 24 hours after the application and then wash it. This will remove that excess ink

@@ahauck1283 I washed it and did exactly what they said to wash inside out with cold water and I used very little detergent for gentle clothes. It faded terribly. Brown football has now turned yellow. Black letters are now grey. I didn’t wash with any other laundry and hand washed also. Made sure it was rinsed. I have used expressions vinyl HTV and never had any of it fade the way this one has. I’m not sure how I feel about this product at this time. I am going to do a few more tests but this is expensive and if the ink fades like it has this time I definitely won’t waste my money.

i am using epson et 8550. i have tried printing with settings matte paper and standard and high print quality i get black ink smear marks on my prints , if i enter print on normal paper and standard print quality its not as vibrant, any hints please i am wasting too many sheets of easycolor testing this out

Help, Help, Help....I ordered this product from Amazon but I think they gave me the wrong product.(I can return) The ink never dries? I have left it out overnight. I even went out and purchased a new printer. Still the ink does not dry. My sheet is shiny on one side and matte on the other both sides are white (not gray). I tried to print or either side of the paper. I am using the New Epson ET2803 and the print quality is bad! Can anyone tell me that this is definitely the wrong product, or what I am doing wrong. I keep writing to siser and asking if DTV can be used with an inkjet printer with pigment ink instead of dye based inks. They do not have an answer I ask because before I add pigment ink to my new printer. I want to make sure it works with pigment ink.

Yes, try waiting overnight after you printed your image... if your design is heavy saturated with ink, then the masking may have some difficulties when you attempt immediately. Waiting overnight allows the ink to gas out a bit more. Making the masking portion smoother.

@@SiserNorthAmerica I did wait overnight, the ttd mask just does not work/stick well. Last night I used Fisco craft transfer tape for heat transfer vinyl 15 min after printing and that worked great. Just don't think the TTD mask has strong enough grip when you have smaller or intricate pieces

it may be from the saturation of the print.... is you warm under the heat of your heat press, it will relax the curling down

You will have to use your best discretion.... if you notice the Mask does not have any ink residue on it, then you may be able to get a couple uses out of it. If there is residue, then you will not want to reuse it.

It unfortunately isnt made for those substrates. You will probably have a successful initial application but will probably fall off after a wash

The color red gets extremely dark for me, no matter the original shade of red the desing originally had

Try using the standard quality setting on your printer instead of high quality.
