The concept of "being dead"' is a complete paradox. It is illogical to think that death is somehow magically experienceable. There is no proof whatsoever to confirm this idea. One cannot ever really experience death itself but only the sensations that gradually or suddenly lead up it. We can think of all organisms as different kinds of computers that receive input and store information in different ways. One day the hardware fails and the contents are irretrievable. I think it is similar with organisms too. I believe the distinct feeling of individually is completely lost upon the death of the organism. Do our atoms get recycled? I suppose--scientists have told me so. But I do not believe we humans possess a spirit. The problem is that we confuse consciousness and data storage as the spirit. We really need not worry about such things, and simply live as brilliantly as possible right now. Death is a beautiful thing in many ways because it prevents eternal monotony, and means that absolutely everything is in flux and will perhaps never cease being so.

Interesting position though I am not sure I understand it completely. First, you say that experiencing death is illogical and there is no proof for this experience. Which is it? (What I mean is that if experiencing death were truly illogical then no proof would be required.) Then you say "one cannot ever really experience death." You sound unsure of yourself while at the same time claiming a very bold view about something of which you have no experience (since that is your argument). The problem here is obvious (it should be, anyways). Second, you reason that organisms behave somewhat like computers and, therefore, organisms are tantamount to computers. (A useful observation, but a very limited view of nature.) You then jump to your belief that individuality ceases post mortem. (Pretty basic observation, but quite crucial actually.) The rest is a list of other personal beliefs. Problem: I can assemble and disassemble computers like mad and they will work if I have done so properly. Could I assemble and disassemble a fish, a monkey, a human multiple times such that they continue to live just as before? It seems not. If you view the "human spark" that makes us different from all other organisms in the planet as mere "data storage" then it makes sense that you see life as a monotony. There is obviously more to man than simply being a hard drive, wouldn't you say?

You don't know that, I mean, one thing to defend the idea is that all we have ever known is experience, even from the moment our heart begins beating. So it's not the most outlandish (or paradoxical) thing to assume that even after we die, or before we were born, we have experience. There's nothing yet that disproves this
@hcalbukaj
@hcalbukaj 4 жыл бұрын
@@JC-zn2iy Of course you could hypothetically assemble and disassemble an animal as such that it continues to live just as before; there is no proof that you can't. Right now the limitations in doing so are merely technological and scientific advances. You compared an extremely complex biological organisms, which humans to this day haven't completely figured out, to a human invention.

I like how Germans really don't make a really big deal about this topic, when i see the comments of people getting offended because of this I laugh about it, it doesn't matter if you belong in the idea of a certain religion of belief, It is something personal. I actually believe that somehow after we die life continues In a different place, since I am a Christian. It is a really great question, very hard to explain and very cool to think about. Kürşat Atamyrat Hate? Hate isn't something Bible is trying to teach us about. The central message of Christianity is that Jesus Christ died for us so we can be set free from our sins. Are we really talking about "hate" in Bible when LOVE was something Jesus would lay a stress on? When it comes to Bible, I'm familiar enough to imagine what you implied with that "hate", but even so, I can't agree. I know I don't have to, cause it's your opinion, but there is literally not a single hateful thing Bible tells you to do towards other people or whatsoever. Call it a fairytale, but it's never a hateful one. Another unfortunate assumption many people make is that believers are just a bunch of unintelligent people who don't know how to think and who are just too ignorant to understand the "real" picture. I totally consider myself a thinking person and I wouldn't state that I'm not just because my opinion differs from yours and your opinion differs from mine. I see God working in my life, so obviously I wanna share it. It's as simple as that

If something contradicts itself is because it has both truths and lies. We only need to decipher which is which and the bible like any other book is full of it. The thing I like the most from the Bible are Jesus' parables, except the Tennant's one. I sense complete truth on them. They are an excellent guide for us. I also like the book of a James and Joseph's story from the Hebrew bible. I believe if Jesus came today he would suffer the same fate. Acused by religious leaders like the pharisees back then and condemned by religious fanatics. There is wisdom everywhere we should not limit ourselves to one thing. There are pieces of truth everywhere we only need to move and find them. We only find these truths when we have an open mind or are completely unbiased. When we are willing to listen instead of speaking or when willing to learn instead of teaching.

Tolle Episode!

@toomanycharacter
@toomanycharacter Жыл бұрын
@@lunalovegood4471 Can you give me 5kg of live after death? You see, the question itself is meaningless. "Nothing" is not to be quantified, it IS a quantifier. Nothing isn't an object that can weigh some amount of kg, it is the lack of objects. Can you give me 5kg of god? Can you give me 5kg of souls? Can you give me 5kg of thoughts? Can you give me 5kg of concepts? These are all meaningless questions because they assume that rhetorical concepts must somehow have physical properties to be valid. Let's talk about "creator". A "creator" is a "something" So he clearly could not "pop out of nothing", from your logic. If the creator was created by another creator, then where did the creator's creator come from? If the creator always existed, then its obvious that "something" can exist without "popping out of" anything. Then we can't just assume that our universe "popped out of" something, its possible then that it always existed.

In that software we will take what likes and dislikes we generated in this life. We will continue doing that until we figure out what the ultimate LIKE of our being could be.

Great question Janusz; if you dont believe in God ,this is a meaningless life, imagining yourself vanishing when you die, so sad life, so empty. Oh poor people; what is the profit in gaining the whole world but dont even think abou your soul. Jesus the way, the truth and the life.

The most scientifically correct answer is heard in 4:37. In Life there is no death. The atoms are just rearranging themselves.

Janusz seemed a bit hostile and rude with the people who gave atheistic responses. He needs to chill out and not get huffed up at the sight of people not believing in God. Btw that woman around 5:50 is correct about atoms as our intellect and logic doesn't exist without our material form so first and foremost we consist of atoms which our intellect depends on.
