I'm really done with "beginner " videos that start with 3 shots of someone using 10k worth of tools. Show how to make this with pine from Home Depot and a contractor saw! Then the title of "beginner " will apply.

you can't make cutting boards with pine. Cabinet saw, job site saw, no matter, the process is the same.

@@squarelevelplumbbut how many beginners have jointers, thickness planers, and belt sanding stations? The process for squaring and flattening is not the same without those.

Well maybe you should begin your journey with a trip to the tool store, and get some tools and a place to work. They you too can be a beginner. Right now You're still in the dreamer phase.

Very nicely done like the pattern and grain colours. Only thing for me is to put a juice channel around for when you are cutting items up the juice can run into it. 👍😀😀

I’m less than 30 seconds into the video and already this is not a video for beginners. You can’t use thousands of dollars worth of machinery and call it, “for beginners”

Торцовая доска вообще не для начинающих. Весьма сложная работа требующая понимания процесса, и большого количества дорогостоящего оборудования. Только на видео было задействовано станков и инструментов на 500-700 тыс. У начинающих вряд ли есть мастерская под рукой.

Да, станочный парк как у всех начинающих ) Торцевые доски не сложно. Процесс достаточно долгий просто. Много операций

@@Infinium13 под сложностью я имел ввиду то, что нужно много технических процессов осуществить. Нужна идеальная прифуговка склеиваемых поверхностей. Нужно соблюсти направление колец. Нужно помнить, что фуговать и рейсмусовать можно только вдоль волокон. А если склеить в разном направлении бруски с поперечными волокнами, то могут быть задиры. Нужно равномерно зажать при склейке. Материал должен быть без микротрещин, иначе при торцевом склеивании они выявятся. Торцевая калибровка и шлифовка весьма сложный процесс. Барабанный шлифовальный станок эту проблему снимает. В одном изделии вся боль собрана. Только ласточкиного хвоста не хватает, для пущего эффекта)

@@dargan1983 ну по опыту, с малым съемом я рейсмусовал доски, т.к не бшс. А потом уже шлифовка ленточкой и эксцентриком. А что бы не скалывало, клею жертвенный брусок, что и автор делал. Остальное, при наличии циркулярки и рейсмуса вообще не проблема. Фуганок нужен только в самом начале, откалибровать доску. Боковые части доски шлифуются той же ленточкой уложенной на бок на стол и закреплённой. И боковины вышлифовываются, и углы, если надо, скругляются.

Подсолнечное масло, имхо, плохо. Оно не полимеризуется нормально, и доска скоро просто завоняет, т.к масло прогоркнет

How about show me that you’re a REAL woodworker and do this with a circular saw and an orbital sander. How good are you without all that expensive equipment?

All that wasted effort for nothing. You glued up all the strips into a single board, then cut it into strips, and aligned them EXACTLY THE SAME WAY THEY WERE…. After the first glue up, you were done, just cut to size. This channel is a waste of time. Bye.

What is this bullshit? A project for a beginner woodworker that also happens to have a pro planer and jointer laying around next to their generous collection of clamps!? Give me a break.
