How is it possible to set the duty cycle less than 20% in frequencies above 20 kHz?

Very versatile IC can also produce a second duplicate waveform from the other output 180 degrees out of phase, so suitable for switchmode power supplies or boost converters, the feedback pins used here to regulate the duty cycle directly can with extra circutry be used for voltage and current regulation. And thank you for Beethoven. Classical music is used too little on youtube, especially considering it is royalty free.

Hi. Thanks again for this great video and schematics. I have built your schematic with tl494 and 5v input butwith fixed frequency. It works wonderful! One question: are the 1k and 100ohm resistors for stability/EMI/or other reasons? Because it works also perfectly well without these resistors. But if it’s for emi or stability i would put them in again. Kind regards Phil

@@EasyOne ok thanks. I will put them in again. My Vcc is 5v and Vpp is 3.8v on the oscillator. I saw your Vpp is 4.36v. What was your Vcc? Do you think 1k and 100ohm resistors are ok for my operating voltages or do i have to adjust them for my purpose?

Hi. It is such a great video! I would love to use this pwm control to control the speed of an ec fan. Which pin of tl494 is the pwm output that goes to the fan? Do you think the tl494 would also work with Vcc=5v coming from usb c port? The data sheet suggests 7-40v with max 41v but it mentions no minimum Vcc. Regards phil

of course you can NE555 is literally one of the most common used IC's on the planet for beginners. there are literally thousands of videos on that specific topic GOOGLE IT 555 TIMER FREQUENCY GENERATION UP TO 1MHZ I guarantee you'll find plenty to choose from as if you needed to ask this question

I'll give you a run down on his scope and i'll tell you from experience what to watch out for First of all, His scope is likely not just a scope but has a built in Wave Gen. Secondly it's probably shit to moderate in quality 3. there is no brand, that firstly tells you something Here is the most likely candidate www.google.com/search?sxsrf=APwXEdcAS2uyKMWXrD5-J7Ai20h3NtagVA:1687711437207&q=handheld+scope&tbm=shop&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiuv8qF797_AhUVqVYBHVX8CfIQ0pQJegQIDBAB&biw=1366&bih=569&dpr=1#spd=15680363424285170920 it's a 2.5" Screen, which is small as fuck 4. so let me give you a run down on this . Never say... DS2000A this is a 2 channel scope but out performs anything above the Base Model is 70MHz, YOU CAN UNLOCK THIS TO 300MHz and you'll probably have it for the rest of your life Over 10 years ago i had to make a choice DS100E or DS2000A the 100E was $500 the 2000A was $1100 i put in the effot, NEVER REGRETTED IT I now own several scopes i recently bought a MSO5000 series (now i don't expect you to do this) but if you can afford it go RIGOL DS2000A lower than that DS1054Z i don't know why you'd want to go lower than that because when you consider price vs specs the DS1054Z is something you can get for like $400 hope that helps
