@@EasyOne ok thanks. I will put them in again. My Vcc is 5v and Vpp is 3.8v on the oscillator. I saw your Vpp is 4.36v. What was your Vcc? Do you think 1k and 100ohm resistors are ok for my operating voltages or do i have to adjust them for my purpose?

DS2000A this is a 2 channel scope but out performs anything above the Base Model is 70MHz, YOU CAN UNLOCK THIS TO 300MHz and you'll probably have it for the rest of your life Over 10 years ago i had to make a choice DS100E or DS2000A the 100E was $500 the 2000A was $1100 i put in the effot, NEVER REGRETTED IT I now own several scopes i recently bought a MSO5000 series (now i don't expect you to do this) but if you can afford it go RIGOL DS2000A lower than that DS1054Z i don't know why you'd want to go lower than that because when you consider price vs specs the DS1054Z is something you can get for like $400 hope that helps
