I managed to complete this as my first ever origami! It’s not perfect, some folds I made were not symmetrical which made some parts of the lion a little bit disproportionate. But it’s good for my first effort!

Messed up thing is I struggled at the same point and I was ready to tear it apart cause I was getting mad, but I carried on folding only to find that you don't need to follow all of his steps to get the final product
