In this video we solve the dilemma of how to plate a full breakfast beautifully. There are a few different plating problems to solve with a big breakfast - They contain so many components; we have even numbers of items; and we have lots of similar bland colours.
Is there a way we can present it nicely without just piling it all on the plate?
Of course there is, and in this video we'll talk about the things to think about so that you too can plate a beautiful big breakfast. If your big breakfast has lots of components you won't need to just pile them on the plate any more ;)

Thank you for this video tutorial Taryn. My husband is English (I’m Australian) and he LOVES a full English breakfast (particularly with black pudding). Now I can make it look even better using the principles you’ve outlined here. I have white rectangular plates but I typically only use them for dinner parties - time to start using them more often for everyday meals! 💕

I think, I'd be in a food coma, for a very long time, after that large breakfast 😅. The presentation is lovely!

I think considering there is two of everything that it would be very romantic to share the platter with my husband. Even then it would probably be too much! But think of the twinkle of the eyes as leftovers are eaten later. 😉

I think the eggs need to be together in the center. The reason is because everything else is just in addition to the eggs; i.e.: eggs with bacon... beans, with tomato and mushroom garnish. I would also place the tomatoes on top of the mushrooms with a little parmesan and parsley. But that's me. 😉

That's the beauty of food presentation. There aren't any rules, you can do whatever you think looks best 😉. For me 2 eggs together would look a bit like 2 eyes 😂

It is a lot, but you could always make less or leave off some items to suit your needs. The plating principles stay the same no matter what's going on the plate ☺️
