I feel you Tiffany. My daughter is now 26, but when she was 16, 17 - she gave me a run for my money. What helped is making her work a job! That kept her SO busy plus she was in multiple school activities surrounded by other adults/mentors. I was single, still am - and with her being so busy - it gave me plenty of breaks. Hang in there Momma! You are doing great!

Hi Tiffany diy donna here love the video yes it is Different raising boys than what it is raising girls. I raise 2 of my daughters, my own self. They are now 30 and 31 and then I adopted 3 children. One is a girl and the 2 youngest are boys and I just think boys are harder than girls. I rather raise girls any day than don't get me wrong. I love all of my children the same. Even the ones that I did not give birth to I still love them like they were my own but I rather raise girls than boys.yes I go to the Park and eat lunch in my car I never left my kids alone. And I don't leave the boys alone now either. The girls are now 30-30 1 and 18. The boys are 14 and 15 I do not leave them. Boys alone. Or did the girls get left alone either somebody was with them at all times too. Sneaking out the window. Have boys in the room? My brother and his wife are doing with that. With 17-year-old daughter now sneaking in and out. Drinking smoking have boys in her room. My brother add a boy. Paint to their garage.2weeks ago

Prayers for Caymen. I know he will do well. I too was a teenage mother. I have 2 daughters. It was pretty stressful like you say. Both my girls were very hard from the 8th grade until they were Junior's in High School. When they were Senior's they were totally different. It was like a 360. I don't know how to explain it? Their attitudes were gone. POOF! Just disappeared. They both graduated with honors, went to college and have great jobs now. Stay strong Tiffany. You're an AWESOME mama. It's rough right now and I know exactly what you're going through. I'll say some prayers for you too! Take care, God Bless, and stay warm!

I’m a mom, grandma, great grandma, and a child therapist. I was challenged to the max when my daughter was a teen. I would t ever want to go through that again. I can tell you that no matter what, you stay in her business. Right up in her grill at all times. You will sacrifice but in the end it will be worth it all. Hang in there, mama. You’re doing great!

I was so intent on trying to keep her from making the same mistakes as I did ! I had her when I was 18.There comes a point where you've just got to give it to God.And pray for patience, and strength for yourself LOL! I will definitely be praying for Cayman! I really enjoyed sitting with you and hearing your heart! Stay strong friend! Love you!❤

Right! And my mother would have never taken me for drinks at 21 nor would I do it as a parent! You need to have boundaries and kids need to know as much as you love them you’re not on their level.. you’re their mother! I think she is so in need of friends and adult companionship that she uses her kids to socialize with, and she should be doing that stuff with adults. I absolutely love her channel but I mean yikes

Hi Tiffany I work from home 95% with an office day twice a month which I enjoy a lot. I found that I’m more productive, less interruptions from chatty folks that would constantly interrupt my day, no dealing with unnecessary and unplanned meetings, no sitting on city traffic with angry folks beeping and swearing! I also love that if I don’t feel well I can still try to work and not use time along with not putting others at risk in an office space! Prayers for Cayman and his buddy 🙏 I know they will do fantastic! I would definitely want a sitter for a teenager since, and we all have been there, they have a different sense understanding danger and in today’s world the problem isn’t that you can’t trust your teenager but all these crazy others that can invade your house even virtually! I hope you find the perfect person to help with this when you need to be away from your home. I believe in therapy and I always recommend speaking with someone impartial who can provide support without any involved emotions! Just a thought. Yes! Vlogs are fantastic when you travel, staycation, travel and food! Love all your videos! Sending you love and hugs❤🙏🥰😊

Life 360 and if it gets turned off, phone gets taken away. Removing that phone is life to a teenager. Also, take the phone every now and then and go through it. I will walk in and randomly take a phone. No warning. Always catch them off guard so they can’t delete. I also don’t allow TikTok and Snap Chap. I do allow FB and IG. I hate social media for kids but you have to pick your battles.

Praying for Cayman. This cold snap is unusual for many parts. My granddaughter just graduated Navy bootcamp last Thursday. Now she’s in San Antonio, TX. We’re so very proud of her. Hi Tiffany, I'm praying for Caymen and I'm sure he will do well. Now...raising a teenage girl, was one of the hardest jobs I had! Boys are so different and were much easier for me. My life is very similar, single mom, young adult children and I completely understand you. I look back when my daughter was in high-school and I'm surprised we both survived it! It was very stressful and exhausting at times, but honestly my kids didn't get into trouble. It is truly a test, when you raise independent children to young adults. Today is such a different world than when we were kids. I think you're doing a wonderful job! ❤ My daughter and I had issues because we are both type A personalities and clashed often because she thought she was grown as a teenager. Now, as a young adult and a Flight Attendant with a major airline, she is traveling the world and understands completely where I was coming from. We are now best friends, talk everyday, and she has so much respect for me. In fact, we even travel together when she's working or not. You got this!! I have admired the relationship you and your children have. Ok sorry, I'm just rambling, but I get it. You need a mental break and some relaxation. Praying for you too! Tfs❤

Hey Tiffany I am a single mom of two boys and one girl in the same situation as you. My boys keep an eye on her social media and keep me up to date with what is going on in her life and who she is with (in case I don't know them but usually I do). I never leave her alone - Young and dumb is exactly right and I'm not saying she's a bad girl she is amazing but I was her age once and this day in age there are dangers out there and just making one bad mistake can change your world. I have my family member(s) come and stay at my house when I go away and don't doubt yourself you are doing a great job if your worrying (lol) My favorite saying for my kids was "not on my watch" and again I put my life on hold to raise my kids and then I say I get my life but it hasn't happened yet but it will - good luck!

Hate to say it but your travel time may have to wait till after your daughter turns 18 and or moves out on her own. Or maybe a trusted family member can come to help out. I had two kids that were 2 years apart, my husband and I went out of state for his 50th birthday and left the two of them at home. The only reason we did it was my son was the responsible one. And we felt like he could handle his sister. And yes we did get phone calls about what was going on, like when she let all her crazy friends in our house. That was breaking the rule while we were gone. Self care is so very important and you will find Tiffany! Give yourself some grace and your time will come! You got this!!!! 🤗

I have 1 daughter who is the oldest. and 2 sons who are younger. What kept them busy and I knew where they were, was a summer and weekend job. It taught them responsibility and helped them develop work experience. Or to have them volunteer somewhere they are interested in. Like an animal shelter, homeless shelter, Boys &Girls Clubs, hospital, Senior Center, etc. it looks good on their employment application and college applications. I also knew where they were on weekend evenings and their paycheck taught them financial responsibility. You could team up with other single mothers or parents to plan sleepovers every month. That way, you got three weekend evenings to spend for yourself. The parents who drop off their children also drops off food for the evening and morning. 😊❤

I have 3 boys, our oldest is now 26, the worse we got from him was just spending a lot of alone time in his room and he didn’t want to share what was going on with him. But now we’re starting the teenage phase again with our 13 year old twin boys. Now they are not like their older brother. I ended up homeschooling them because this world is so fast paced, our kids just want to grow up too fast. I tell them, “when kids want to grow up too fast, they loose themselves trying to be someone they are not, take your time trying to grow up and you’ll be able to appreciate and embrace who you are becoming.

When I needed to figure out what was inside me I started yoga...but in a real yoga studio. You'd be surprised how much you learn about yourself and others when you dive deep into yoga. Ive been at it now over 10 yrs. Find a good studio, with a good, "seasoned" instructor, a good zen/yoga vibe. A yoga class for me is like a self care journey every time. It's worth a try...a place to start. ❤

Ooh, the vinegar on the broccoli making you cough scared me! I’ve had several instances when eating pickles when that’s happened to me. My throat closes up & I can’t catch my breath. It is SO frightening! I try to not panic & take small slow breaths to get air back in my lungs. But when in the midst of this attack, it can be very traumatic. Be careful! How did your sister get interested in moving to Malta? During high school football season on Friday nights, I get drive thru supper & go park @ the field & watch the game. I don’t have any kids that play, it’s just a fun outing! I’m 63 yrs old, never married, no kids. Have lived most of my life enjoying the solo life. Don’t be afraid to do things solo! You have a great attitude & adventurous spirit. Give yourself grace going through all the recent changes w your kids. You’re a protective mom. Lots of good ideas for you to read in the comments. Tiffany have you ever considered going to church with Khia so you and her both can make some Christian friends. Wholesome friends that love the Lord and can have Khia learn and volunteer for the church with girls her age? That will keep her busy and she will have adults keeping an eye on her along the way. And you can meet some nice women too? Some churches do some traveling to spread the word of God, they would probably love to have you on their team.❤😊

Coming from a teen pregnant Nana... I was also a teen pregnant. My kids are now 28 & 30. Honestly, you have to hope that you have instilled enough knowledge into teens these days and also allow them to find themselves. It's the worst thing ever. I would raise 10 boys over 1 girl. ( I have one of each) You will get through it.... I honestly didn't think I would survive 14-18! Trust yourself that she knows right from wrong and things have consequences. That's all you can do. I will tell you I was a very relaxed mom. My daughter had friends whose mother's were so strict and naive that when they got a little time away from there parents...they went wild. You got this but still sending prayers ❤

Thanks for your chat. All of us that have already gone through the teenage years can surely relate to the challenges and worries that you are facing. As for Cayman, try not to worry about him temperature wise anyway, it is actually not that cold in San Antonio right now. They are not getting the extreme temps that a lot of us are experiencing. Facing the temps there now would be much easier than facing the extreme heat and humidity of summer - outdoor physical activity then is brutal in comparison. Being a mother is the greatest thing, but also one of the most stressful things we will ever face - I feel your pain and concern - continue on, and take care! ❣

Sending prayers for Cayman. I am sure he will do well. I raised 2 boys. They definitely are easier than girls. My friends who have daughters tell me girls are harder than boys. You are a wonderful Mom. Hang in there❤

I understand exactly how you feel. I was a single parent as well. I only had one she had to be left along often while I worked. I talked to her a lot about things that could happen. I caught her a couple of times in compromising situations and it hurt my heart. But there were things I couldn't teach her that she had to learn on her own. Thankfully, she was 39 years old when she had her first child. Now she is 45 with 2 boys 9 and 6. I always let her know that I was available to talk to about anything, even the hard😮 subjects. So If you have a decent relationship with her friend's parents, I would talk to them about Kyla spending time at their house so she could spend time at their house sometime. This would give you a chance to get to know yourself and take a break. I use to bring up things that I knew she had questions to open the lines of communication. Teenagers are so easily embarrassed. They will get information from kids their own age and most of the time it's incorrect information. Try not to wait until she's done something to correct her. Be proactive. I hope this helps at least a little bit. Good luck and God bless

Tiffany, it sounds like you are doing things right. Your children are very lucky to have you and they know you will be there. Sometimes you do need time for yourself even if for a day or night. I hope you find a way. Your day will come.

I really feel your pain. My daughter moved out and 1500 miles away a year ago. While I’ve adjusted to the new strange feeling, i still continue to miss her so much! The void doesn’t get filled. I’m glad you are going to do things that will bring you joy. I too have a teenager and yes they can be “challenging” lol. Best wishes for you ❤

I know how you are feeling. My son was in the Marine Corps (now a veteran) and was in the field in the Sierra mountains in CA. in February with extreme snow conditions. He got injured during training. He tore his ACL and had to continue training until he got back to base at Camp Pendleton to be seen by a doctor. Prayers for them and prayers for you, momma.

Yes share your travel’s absolutely. Maybe not a babysitter for teenagers but maybe a Chasity belt for a daughter lol. This coming from one that also had a Child at 17 years old and I was a good girl as so many are just curious and thought that I was in love forever of course. Love you and always in my prayers sweetheart.

So just teaching them about life and how to deal with hard times love u girl praying for Caymen

But i feel ya girl….i WILL NOT leave them home alone for more than a couple of hours….i would be worried sick and full of anxiety. My thoughts and worries keep me up at night. ITS HARD! Thank you for the video…my soul needed this. There’s many of us going through stuff. You are doing amazing though….you’re a hell of a mom. You’ve been my mom inspo for some years now. Prayers for Cayman ❤

remember the movie "mom's club" and do not try to do it alone. Alot of people are super stressed out, we need each other, get a support group of others going thru similar things. Medical support groups for like women with lupus, survivors, grief groups, senior center groups, activities like bowling, picleball, i am a 12 step girl plus i go to church. I am very social, still hope to get a mate but meet him while i am out there adventuring withothers. went to a Spiritual 12 step womens retreat last weekend and explored the town of Raymond, WA. 😊

I'm barley getting past the little kid stage and have a preteen now. She has 100% distance herself now. I'm seeing the changes. It's not bad. I'm extremely greatful she is handling the changes like a champ. I'm sad she's not my baby anymore but now blooming and I will stand by her side and watch her bloom and catch her when she falls. That's where you are at. Just be there when they need you too. Definitely time to find hobbies now that your children's are grown. Make a bucket list. 😉🥰
