Raina another important additive on the naked flesh of the fish before consuming the sushi is to rub a dash of rice wine vinegar mixed with a little sake. It sweetens the fish and cools the flesh of the fish as well. People have been missing out. I have seen from a sushi mastor here in Australia back 30years ago that ,' yes ' the most important thing he took care of was the rice. He hid everything in a chiller and over the rice he draped a cheesecloth drenched in the same liquid he moulds the fish onto the rice with. I don't see anyone doing the same anymore. You can actually taste each individual ingredient much better .His mastor move is passed to foodies who care for little details such as that.

Myrtle beach is such a country town. Sushi looks good but they could’ve filled the gaps with seaweed salad, ginger, pineapple, sashimi, nigiri, etc…

If you come to Cleveland Ohio there is a restaurant that I cannot go a week without there food. It’s called Phnom Pehn on west 25 street. I am obsessed with their rice paper rolls and their hot tofu soup. The rice paper rolls come with peanut dipping sauce and I also get their chili sauce this is such a perfect combination of food. They have a noodle dish called Mee Khmer I get mine medium spicy because I want to taste all the flavors in it. I would love it if you came and ate there and I would cheer you on ( quietly) 🥰
