@@ginnieng9839 it depends how you think when you read or listen the word chemicals in food each individual chemical have it's own identity each state, Nation or region have laws which are peer-reviewed for safe use .the long term exposure to them we have created tolerance but not every one have same tolerance some can be very harmfull .

it's multiple times a day and there's two of them. probably usual behavior for travelers. and the prices are same as a grocery store really. instead of paying a premium like you do in the states. $1.19 for a roll of meat they call a hotdog vs oatmeal for $1.49.

Well the air helps to keep the chips crunchy and fresh. If there's no air in the bag, the chips will become soggy and spoil.

Hence why foods that can become stale are often in heat sealed containers and even shrink wrapped with the sole purpose of keeping air out? The air actually cushions the chips in shipping but I mean what’s the point if you only get six chips anyway lol

@@breadcrumbhoarder the chips would become stale if they were packaged with oxygen in the bag. Companies put nitrogen gas in the bag to prevent them from going stale too quickly - hence the best before date. Once the best before date is gone, then they start to become stale. (Unless the bag/batch was faulty, I've had some gross chips before)

I personally love 7/11 after living in Japan, it would seem the high standards of cleanliness, customer service and choice are brand wide. Shop owners worldwide should take note, this is how it's done. I wish we had these in England, instead all we get is your local corner shop where they struggle with English, are generally pretty dingy and routinely sell out of date stock.

When I was in Highschool, before the pandemic hit, I would have instant oatmeal for breakfast every morning, and bring it to my engineering class. I would sometimes have something with it, like fruit or whatever else was being served, but watching you make something so familiar reminded me of that. I ended up teaching others how to emulate Pokemon games instead of doing my work most of the time, though. XD

I miss living in Singapore, living there as a student for three years, i had such fun experiences and 7/11 was my favorite place there. I remember I'd do all the shopping from there and always go there after school with friends to buy snacks. *_sigh_* a part of growing up i leaving the fun high school experiences behind but they will always stay in my heart.

Oh, there is still the Japanese garlic fried rice, Chicken chop with Japanese Curry, Honey Roasted Chicken, Mee siam, Mee Rebus and there is still many more. Oh, there is also the Chicken Carbonara Pasta. All of them are being sold in 7-11 in Singapore. I know because I go to the convenience store every single day.

Last time I was in Singapore we got back to Sentosa one evening and found there was nowhere to eat except the hotel (lovely island, but everything closes early!). We took a leaf out of your book and found a 7-11 at Imbiah monorail station. I actually had the butter chicken biriani (it was really good but there was no table to eat at in this 7-11... so hot when you are trying to hold it and not drop it!) and my partner had the 5-cheese pizza. I can't wait to go back to Singapore, a wonderful country.

it's not really odd because in a few asian cities like hong kong and singapore (the place in the video), we've implemented a policy that deducts a few cents/dollars from your total if you bring your own utensils/food container/cup

I want to share my thoughts with his video (I haven't made it past 3:30 minutes) and all I have to say is that I love it, I live this kind of videos but yours made me want to go badly as soon as you showed your partner and her happy face, it made me think of how fun (and delicious) it is for you to travel and eat together all kind of tasty food.
