We went in to each restaurant and asked for the house favorite taco and ended up with bbq chicken, al pastor, carne asada, pork, tripe, birria and so many more delicious tex mex and authentic Mexican street tacos! You’ve got me, an Aussie, desperately wanting to visit and do a taco take-down in Kansas City! Tacos are life! Vicariously living the taco dream through your eyes lol I’d eat tacos every day if I could. Typically make tacos of some kind at least once a week at mi casa. My fav is definitely beef asada street tacos with lots of onion, cilantro, lime, pickled jalapeños and green sauce 😋

When I moved to my new place in 2017 part of My Criteria was How far do I have to walk to get food, Multiple Places within 3 blocks from my location. Sometimes I walk outside and I am hungry but it's like My Brain is Having a Battle. Do I walk two blocks left, Or do I walk two blocks right, Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!

As a local KC resident I feel like I need to offer some clarity. Most people dont know that there are TWO Kansas City's. Kansas City, Missouri was a town before Kansas was even a state. Anytime you see anything involving downtown KC, or pretty much anything that there is worth doing in the Metro, that is all in Missouri. Kansas City, Kansas is a much smaller community just on the other side of the state line. Unfortunately, some parts of that area of town are places you wouldn't let loved ones drive around at night. But I've been to nearly every stop on the Taco Trail. El Camino Real and San Antonios are the best in town!

Like this format, you should make this a series. Could give some ideas when traveling or on a trip where to eat. Should the person be in the area. would love to see more of this type of content. Would love to go on vacation to the US at one time and try different places my self. keep the good content going.

What a fun trip, thanks for sharing 👍. Looked like the pepper you ate at tacos on wheels was a Serrano...kinda smaller, longer, and more slender. But yeah, jalapeños are so hit or miss when it comes to heat levels 😕 or 🥵

Wow! What a mundane food challenge...lol! Only, because it lasted hours. But, thanks for showing us the different styles. I learned to take a bit from them all to create my new taco place in Kansas...lol! I, literally, didn't get "excited" until you went to GiGi's. I think the more crusty shell, loads of cheese, and beef juice is the best. My area is growing in the Latino base, so I'll go searching for more authentic cuisine.
